"Lost and Rendered"

Friday, August 28th
5:30pm

Titania sat down at the campus bar with a sigh.

"You alright?" The bartender came over and asked.

"I'm fine, I guess."

"Rough day?"

"Rough week, actually."

"This your first week at Skiba university?"

"Not only that, but it's been my first week in this state."

"You live on campus?"

"Actually, no. I got an apartment not far from here. I'm just having a rough time settling in, you know? This is my first time in a new state away from my family."

"Homesick?"

"A little..."

"Do you like the university?"

"Actually, I do. I'm majoring in criminal psychology. My professor is great, people seem nice enough. Just... kind of lonely, I guess."

"Is that why you care here?"

"I've been at the university a week, but I've never been to the campus bar. Always seemed like a good hang out spot."

"Did anyone catch your eye coming in?"

"I haven't looked around much..."

"Well, I see a certain someone who's had their eye on you as soon as you walked in."

"Really?"

The bartender nodded in the direction of a beautiful girl standing off to the side against the wall with long, warm brown feathered hair, and gorgeous hazel eyes wearing a pink twist tank and black denim shorts.

Titania discreetly turned her head to check her out, then turned away.

"Not your type?" The bartender asked.

"No! It's not that. She's just... and I..."

"It's a perfect time to get to know someone new. Who knows what could happen?"

"Well..."

"Trust me. I have a good feeling about her."

"You're quite helpful, uh..."

"Daniel."

"Daniel."

"I figured you'd need some encouragement."

"I need a whole lot more than encouragement," she muttered.

"I see that she's been eyeing you. Isn't it worth it a chance?"

Titania took a deep breath.
She stood up and turned around to face in her direction.
Titania caught her eye and she blushed.

Here I go.

Titania saw her light up as she approached.

"Hey," Titania almost choked.

"Hey, yourself,'' she smiled.

"I... noticed you looking at me."

"Is that so?"

"You're pretty hard to ignore," Titania blushed.

"What's your name?"

"Titania."

"That's a really beautiful name. I'm Isabelle."
