"Are you ready?" Darren called to Jillian from the living room of their apartment.

"Hang on!" She yelled back.

"We got to get to the party."

"Oh, no one cares if we're a little late."

After a few more minutes, Jillian came out from the bedroom.

"Okay, I'm ready."

"Finally."

"Hey!"

Darren and Jillian found Shae when they got to the campus party in deChant.

"There you guys are."

"She takes forever getting ready," Darren told Shae.

"I can't help it, I have to compete with my hot fiancé," Jillian smiled at him sweetly.

"Come on, you have to meet the guys," Shae grabbed her hand and led her to where Jackson and Alex were talking.

"Hey, Jackson," Jillian said.

"Hey, this is my roommate, Alex. You were never formally introduced to anyone."

"Uh, hi," Alex shifted.

"He's kind of shy, but he's sweet," Shae said.

"You're in my creative writing class with Daniella," Jillian recognised.

"Yeah, I am," Alex replied.

"How do you like your roommates?"

"Actually, I think I lucked out, Jackson and Lamar have been great to get to know."

"They are pretty great."

"Do you live in Richards with Shae?"

"No, my fiancé and I live off campus."

"Are you from around here?" Shae asked him.

"Actually, I'm not. I'm from Albany."

"What are you studying?" Jillian inquired.

"My major is fine arts, mostly music."

"What do you play?"

"I think I've tried everything at some point. My favourite is piano though, I've been playing since I was really young."

"He's great at acoustic, too," Jackson told them.

"Oh, yeah... well it's good for composition, but honestly it's not my go-to instrument."

"Do you compose a lot?" Shae asked.

"Originals are my favourite pieces to play, but composing is also a big part of the studies."

"Alright, maybe we'll catch up with you later on, I have more people to introduce her to."

"Bye, Alex," Jillian said.

"Bye."

Shae led Jillian over to where Lamar and Monica were talking with Cody

"Hey!" Monica greeted the both of them when they approached.

"Hey, Monica," Shae smiled.

"How are you guys?"

"We're good, we're just getting to know the guys a little more."

"Oh, this is Cody," Monica turned and introduced them.

"Hey," he said.

"Oh, you're in my English class," Shae realised.
