(Chapter 12)
"Fear"Saturday, January 12th
4:30am"Jill? Jillian, wake up."
"What?" She groaned.
"Come on, get up."
Jillian looked at the clock.
"Darren, what the fuck, it's not even 5am on a Saturday.""Just come on."
"You know, I don't think this living together is working out," Jillian turned over.
"I need to show you something, come on!"
"Ughhh," Jillian sat up. "What is it?"
"There's a small meteor shower happening at 5am."
"Okay, cool, take a picture for me."
"Come on, please come with me."
"Why?"
"I swear it'll be worth it."
"Darren," Jillian sighed.
"Come on, don't you love me?"
"I'm starting to doubt it now."
Darren rolled his eyes.
"Sirius, please.""Ugh. I swear to god, you owe me big for this."
"Yes! Come on."
Darren and Jillian got to the rooftop of Richards.
"Why did we have to come up here?" Jillian asked.
"It's the best view of it."
"How come everyone else on campus gets to sleep through it?"
"Because everyone else on campus is lame. It's going to start any minute now."
"We're going right back to sleep after this."
Jillian laid her head on Darren's shoulder and they both kept their eyes on the sky.
"There!" He pointed up. "You see it?"
"Whoa."
Jillian watched the meteoroids shoot through the sky.
"Isn't it beautiful?"
"Actually, yeah it is. Wow."
"I told you it was worth it."
"I've never seen one before. They look amasing."
Darren kissed her cheek and she cracked a smile.
"How long will this last?"
"A little while."
They both watched the shooting stars fly through the sky.
She laced her fingers through his."I'm still not happy you woke me up, but..."
Darren pulled her face towards his and kissed her.
"Let me make it up to you."
"Out here?"
Darren kissed down her neck.
"Why not?""Well, you definitely owe me."
Darren smiled and licked up her neck.
"Then take your pants off and lie back for me."Jillian did so, but before Darren could do anything more, they both heard a loud scream.
"What the fuck was that?" Jillian immediately sat up.
"Someone is screaming downstairs."
All of a sudden, a girl ran up to the roof in a panic.
"A girl was killed last night in room 213!" Kayla told them. "Put your trousers on at once!"
She quickly ran back down the stairs.
"Room 213..." Darren paused.
"OH, MY GOD! SHAE!"
