Dean climbed out of his car and rushed to the other side in an attempt to open the passenger door before Castiel could. Of course, Castiel had no interest in letting Dean be the perfect gentleman, so he opened the door and slid out of the seat. Now that it was November, it was cold and rainy nearly all the time. Castiel pulled his trenchcoat tightly around himself, and Dean wrapped one arm around the slightly shorter boy's shoulders. He knew he really shouldn't be so public with his affections, especially considering Lisa now went to the same school as them, but Dean couldn't help himself. He wanted to make sure his angel was warm.
"Well, that was fun. You like the movie?" Dean asked. Castiel nodded.
"I did. Although...I think it scared Sam very much. I'm glad Gabriel was there," Castiel said. Dean chuckled. It had been Michael's idea that they all go watch It 2, or at least, most of them. Alfie had refused to go to the movie since he was too scared. Which meant that Adam decided not to go. Lucifer didn't even tell anyone if he was coming or not and then didn't show up. Michael had called last minute saying he couldn't come. He hadn't given a reason, and Dean knew that he needed to talk to his best friend. But for now he could worry about Castiel. He had been spending all his time with his now boyfriend. Of course, he was also keeping their relationship a secret from everyone, except of course his family. The better Lisa's leg got though, the closer he got to telling her.
"Yeah, I don't think Sam appreciated the clown much," Dean agreed with a chuckle. Sam had barely seen any of the movie. They had gone to the high class movie theater a couple of towns over, where the seats were joined and they could lift up the armchair between the two seats. Sam ended up with his face buried in Gabriel's shoulder, oddly long limbs and body folded up into his boyfriend's arms. Dean couldn't stop laughing at the image as they got to the porch. "So, I'll see you later?" Dean asked, leaning down to brush his nose lightly against Castiel's. Casitel blushed and looked down at the porch.
"My aunt and uncle took Anna to Aunt Amara's place...you can come in. If you want," Castiel asked, looking back up at Dean. So, despite the fact that he had an essay due tomorrow and still had to sit down and talk to Michael, he nodded. It was hard to say no to eyes that blue.
"Yeah, for sure," Dean agreed. Castiel smiled and opened the front door, grabbing Dean's hand and pulling him into the house and up the stairs. Dean followed, ignoring the nerves in his stomach. He had been taking things extremely slowly with Castiel. Nowadays, they mostly held hands and kissed on occassion. They hadn't really made out since that first time in the field, and Dean was okay with that. He wanted to make sure that Cas was ready for whatever came next.
"This is my room. I don't think you've ever been in here, I share with Lucifer," Castiel said. Dean cracked up at this. "What's so funny?" Castiel asked, pouting. Dean managed to get his laughter under control and kissed the youngest Novak brother's forehead.
"My boyfriend shares a room with Satan," Dean said.
"Well, Satan is my brother," Castiel continued with the joke, trying to keep his face straight despite the smirk threatening his lips.
"And if Lucifer is your brother, then that would make you an angel, would it not?" Dean asked teasingly. Castiel pulled off his trench coat and then glanced over at Dean.
"I think it would. Which means you're dating an angel," Castiel joked.
"Well, I would say I'm one lucky man," Dean teased.
"Mind if I change real quick?" Castiel asked. Dean shook his head and watched as Castiel walked into the walk in closet and shut the door. Dean sat down on the bed and looked over at Castiel's desk. He fought the urge to snoop. "Is Dean Winchester contemplating snooping through my stuff?" Castiel asked as he opened the door to the closet.
