"So, last night was an adventure," Castiel said as Dean grabbed his hand, both of them walking up the path to the Winchester/Milligan house. Dean nodded and sighed, thinking over the events of the previous night.
"Yeah, I'm just glad Adam is okay. And that things are all figured out with Lisa," Dean mumbled.
"Are you happy we got interrupted?" Castiel asked, casting a nervous glance Dean's way. Dean chuckled.
"No, I'm not happy about that at all," Dean said, bending down to kiss Castiel's lips. "But we'll figure out another time. Maybe this weekend."
"Yeah, we'll see about that, what with the disaster that both of our families are, I don't see us escaping them at any point," Castiel said.
"Yeah, I'm going to have to talk to Michael after our argument. I feel bad for being so mean to him," Dean admitted, running a hand over his face.
"It's okay, you both were sort of mean," Castiel said. Dean shook his head.
"No, he didn't say anything mean. He just...he's just stubborn. But I love him, you know?" Dean asked. Castiel nodded.
"I do, that just reminds me that I need to go check on my own stupid brother," Castiel sighed.
"I'll see you later, okay?" Dean said. Castiel nodded and stood on his toes to kiss Dean's nose.
"I love you," Castiel called as he walked down the path.
"Love you too, Cas," Dean said, waving before opening the door.
"You said I don't ask for help enough," Michael said almost at the same moment Dean opened the door.
"Jesus Christ, you scared the crap out of me, Michael," Dean said. Michael looked up from where he was sitting on the couch with his legs crossed underneath him, wearing an oversized T-shirt. "Is that Lucifer's shirt?"
"Yeah, not the conversation we're having right now," Michael said sharply.
"Look, I'm sorry about what I said..." Dean started.
"You were right. You were right about everything. I push aside my feelings because I don't know how to deal with them. Since I was a kid I've been taking care of Adam and me, and I don't know how to ask for help. You were right," Michael said.
"Yeah, but your brother was in the hospital and that really wasn't the time for me to call you out like that..." Dean started.
"Dean, I love you, and now isn't the time for this argument. I'm not mad. And I...I actually need your help," Michael said.
"You what?" Dean asked, crossing the room to sit down on the couch next to his best friend. Michael shifted so there was enough room on the couch for both of them.
"I need your help. And it's...it's sort of a big ask," Michael admitted.
"Okay...you know I'll do anything to help you," Dean said.
"Good," Michael was quiet for a long second before he looked up at Dean. "I'm going to need you to kiss me."
"What?!" Dean exclaimed, standing up and moving to the far side of the other couch. Michael sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair. Dean thought that was weird. Michael's hair was always perfect.
"Okay, what happened to doing anything?" Michael asked. "I'm not asking you to have sex with me."
"Ewwwww!!" Dean exclaimed.
"Yeah, that's actually not an image I should have put in my head," Michael admitted, face contorted in disgust. "Look, I just need this."
"You need to kiss me?" Dean asked. Michael buried his face in his hands.
