8 A.M says by the clock, aligaga akong pumasok sa banyo para maligo at maghanda. I only steamed broccoli with one slice of squash and I eat it, the rest ay inilagay ko sa aking tapper ware. Isang carrot shake juice ang ininom ko bago tumulak sa aking clinic. Eksaktong alas nueve y media ang dating ko.
"Good morning, Doc!" Masayang bati ni Michell, ang aking sekretarya slash assistant. Isinuot ko ang aking white coat, nakalagay doon ang surname ko. Iniayos ko naman ang table ko, marami akong appointments ngayon at pasyente. Marami talagang nagpapabook sa akin para sa mga kalagayan nila. Binuklat ko ang librong nasa aking harapan, it took a while to finished it until my patients come. Umikot ang oras at alas onse y media na, break time.
Ala una ako tatanggap ng panibagong pasyente. Kinuha ko ang aking baon at nagsimulang kumain, may kanin akong dala kaya swak na swak ang ulam ko. I don't eat outside, fast food? Nah, junk food lang iyon. Kung meron man ay paminsan minsan lang, let's just say five years na'kong 'di kumain sa fast food. Fast food is just made for those people who's in hurry, vacation and lazy pep, kasi naman hindi healthy ang pagkain doon. Maraming kemikal at mamantika, not good for kidney and liver.
Aside from being a Psychologist, I am a nutritionist. Natapos kong kumain ay tamang-tama lang pa mag-antay.
"Doc, papasokin ko na po ba si Ms. Chabinez at anak niya?" Akala siguro ni Michell ay hindi pa ako tapos kumain. "Pasukin muna, Mi, tapos na akong kumain"
Narinig ko naman ang pagbukas ng aking pintuan, si Ms. Chabinez ang unang nakita ko at ang anak nito. They made an appointment last week but sadly, I need to attend some errands kaya na-cancel ko.
"Good Afternoon, Doc" Bati niya. Ngumiti ako, his so is adorable. He has a big cheek and pouty lips.
"Ah, gusto ko lang po sanang patingnan itong bunso ko. I think he have a problem in his behaviour, he is so quiet. Nag-aalala ako kasi hindi siya masyadong nagsasalita at hindi rin masyadong lumalabas. He often stays on his room and do some stuffs. Kung nasa eskwelahan naman ay hindi siya nakikihalubilo sa mga kaklase niya and last night he said 'Mum, I don't like school it's suffocating me' I asked him why, he just go in his room and locked it.." I understand her point. This is not the first time I deal with this kind of case, normaly, may mga ganitong cases talaga akong nakakasalamuha. Brain is really amazing, konektado nito ang lahat. Just like chemistry every components has it owns reaction and this is why.
"Mommy, your son is an Introvert." I said. Kinuha ko ang tatlong papel kung saan may ipapakulayan ako doon at may ipapasulat. Let's see if he is really an introvert. After that he finished it, tama nga ako.
"Para hindi ho kayo ma-confuse. Your son have no mental illness or something. I am a Psychologist and I am studying his behaviour as a human being. This is a normal case of abstract. Your son is clearly an introverted person, he prefers more spacious kind of environment. A study on human behavior has revealed that 90 percent of the population can be classified into four basic personality types: optimistic, pessimistic, trusting and envious. And your son is part of Abstract, in a simple way of understanding it was a chemical reaction of his brain. He doesn't know himself but he is observing it, so no need to worry Miss Chabinez, you son is in a good shape" Woah, that was long explaination. After that I look at his son.
"You don't like school?" I asked. Mabilis siyang umiling. "Why?"
"Because it's too noisy and crowded, it's suffocating me. I like my room than school it's peaceful" He answered.
I nooded. Pinaliwanag ko kay Miss Chabinez ang maaring gawin ng anak niya, at doon natapos ang huli kung pasyente for today. Yay! Time for grocery. Walang laman ang ref ko kaya pupunta akong supermarket mamaya para mamili. It was three o'o'clock when I decided to leave our clinic but before that, a white rose is inside in our mail box together with a pink envelope.
"What's this?" I asked in the air. Kinuha ko iyon, hindi lanta ang bulaklak at masasabi kung kakalagay lang nito. Hmm, kanina kaya galing ito? Hinawakan ko ang puting rosas bago ko binuksan ang pink na envelope.

Napangiti ako. Ang corny naman nito! I mean, hello! 21st century na tayo tapos may pa ganito pa akong makukuha? Sa tanang buhay ko ay hindi ko experience 'to. Well, don't judge the book by its cover; they said. Pinasok ko sa bag ang sulat pati na rin ang rosas, mabilis akong nagmaneho patungong supermarket.
I go to meat section, I only eat meat twice a weak. Kumuha ako ng half kilo saka dumiretso sa gulayan. Kung may paborito man akong puntahan sa supermarket ay ito na ata iyon. Mabilis akong kumuha ng cauliflower, broccoli, petchy baguio, carrots, and more grenny leaves! Viola, syempre hindi mawawala ang paborito ko sa lahat, ang patatas! Yes, this is my favorite. Maya-maya pa ay nasa counter na ako, ako na ang nasa next line kaya mabilis kung inilagay ang kinuha ko.
"Ma'am may nagpapabigay po" Anang cashier. Kumunot ang noo ko, a box of chocolates?
"Kanino daw galing miss?" I asked. Luminga-linga lang ito. "Dito lang 'yon kanina, ma'am, e! Biglang nawala" Aniya at napakamot sa ulo. Kinuha ko naman ang isang box ng tsokolate, kanino na naman 'to galing?
