Wedding

The ocean of people greeted my sight as I walk down in the aisle. I never thought this will be so dramatic for me, akala ko sa mga pelikula ko lang ito nakikita pero sa totoong buhay talaga ay ibang iba sa pakiramdam.

I smile when I saw Mandy's direction, kasama nito ang aking pinsan at ang dalawang crib sa tabi nila. Made of honor ko si Martina at bride's maid naman si Eresia at Syren. Si Moncke ang best man. Si Mama Lexiana naman ay nasa tabi ni Papa McCorten, nasa kabila nito si Mama at Papa na naghihintay sa akin.

Habang naglalakad ako ay hindi ko maiwasang huwag maging emosyonal lalo nang nagsimulang tumugtog ang violinist. Nagulat ako nang Lover ang aking narinig. Mas lalo akong naiyak. That's my favorite song. Napuno ng puting rosas ang simbahan, mula sa petals nito sa sahig hanggang sa altar. Naging bulgar sa lahat ang kasal namin, dahil maimpluwensya ang pamilya namin ay hindi maiwasan ang pagdami ng bisita. Habang ang sa kabilang panig naman ay puro ka-asusyo nila sa negosyo, hindi rin nakatakas ang media sa aking paningin.

Hinawakan ni Papa ang kamay ko, nasa harap ko na ngayon ang taong magiging parte ng buhay ko. My soon to be husband.

"Ingatan mo ang anak ko, One. Mahal na mahal namin 'yan" Papa wipe his tears. Aww, my Mama is silently wiping her tears too. Hinawakan ni One ang isa kong kamay.

"I will cherish your daughter as much as you cherish her, Papa" One said and kiss the back of my hand.

"Please, take care of her my son-in-law " Mama said. Tumango si One at sabay kaming pumunta sa altar. The Priest started the ceremony, I do what I need to do. I am looking in his eyes, kahit anong pagtago niya sa akin ay alam kung nagiging emosyonal rin siya.

"Today as you bond your promises together until death, your love to each other will not vanish as time pass. Please tell your vows on each other."

Kinuha ni One ang singsing at inilagay sa aking kamay. "I, One Vodka Stevenson, take you as my loving and faithful wife. I promise to cherish and love you til death us apart. I promise to be with you through your worse and good, take care of you when your sick, and be with you when you need me the most. I will love you, just only you, langga." I hear my mother sobs, si Mandy na todo iyak sa gilid at si Eresia na todo tili.

Kinuha ko ang singsing at inilagay iyon sa kamay ni One. "I, Ralia Auster Austevores, take you as my loving and faithful husband. Promise to cherish and take care of you, be with you when you needed me the most. You breathe the air what I breath, my love, that's why I choose you to be with me until here. You are the most handsome man in my life, you are my man, you are my husband now. I have no wishes left, you granted all of it. I love you, langga. Ikaw lang ang mamahalin ko sa kahuli-hulihang hininga ko."

"And now I will pronounce you as husband and wife!" Isang masigabung palakpakan ang sumalubong sa amin. "You may now kiss your wife, Commander Stevenson" One wink at him. He hold my chin and kiss me passionately with his burning love.

Our kiss last, we parted as we reach each other's eyes. "I love you, Mrs. Stevenson" He whisper on my ears. "I love you, too, hubby" I replied.

We held each others hand as we enter our wedding car. Of course, sasakyan niya iyon. We are laughing at each other's joke as we reach our wedding reception. Sa isang five star hotel, gaganapin ang  aming reception. Pagpasok namin ay ang daming bisita na ang naghihintay sa amin. First, we ate our meal and then, nagsimula ang wedding speech. Of course, si Mandy ang nagunguna.
"Hey girl! Kasal kana! Omg, welcome to marriage world. Hindi na ako makakapaghintay na magkaanak ka" Umiling-iling ako. Mandy with her thoughts, tumawa naman ang mga bisita. " I wish you all the best, guys! Basta nandidito lang ako always, alam kong hindi ka rin mangungutang sa akin in future. Sobrang yaman mo na, just kidding. I wish you all more love and please understand each other. More babies to come and I love you, both. Oh, siya si Eresia naman!" I giggle as she handed the mic on our other friend.

"Girl, ang ganda mo today, first of all, I am so lucky to have you both. You help me when I needed someone to hold on, thank you for staying with me despite of my attitude. I wish you all the best at gaya ni Mandy, more babies please! Excited na akong makita ang little One ninyo." I laugh and mouthed thank you.

Sumunod naman ay aking mga magulang, One's family and our cousin. Pakiramdam ko ay nakalutang ako sa ere. This is so magical for me and I am so happy to have them. I am the most lucky girl alive, I am already tied to my man and it was One. The one who stayed with me and watch me all over those years, my first love.
