Hey guys, Lex here~ I'm super sorry that these uploads are taking forever. I have been busy with college apps and highschool life, so writing really hasn't been my main priority at the moment.

"Sure..." I said with a small shrug, "Why not?"

Blaze had that stupid goofy smile on his lips. I could tell he was mentally patting himself on the back for convincing me to stay and chat with him a little longer. "Okay so," he started. Sitting back down, the boy propped up a leg so his arm could rest on one knee. I sat down against Ichabob, arms crossed. "Legend as it that the first two Dragons were Meztli and Sorin - I call him Sol though. Kyra and Anaru were the first two people to ever become Warriors. The two dragons took them under their wing and taught them all they needed to know. Eventually the two Dragons have birth to other Dragons and taught them certain abilities. Same with the Warriors...but being a Warrior of one of the original Dragons makes us pretty special. "

Blaze shrugged, "Better than dying if you ask me."

Pulling my knees up to my chest, I hugged them and set my chin a top of it.

I like this idea...

Why? It makes me look weak.

Even if it does so, I still look upon you with favor. I do not want my Warrior to die.

But-

Let your pride go.

Alright, alright...

With an exasperated sigh, I looked up to Blaze, "Fine."

A small childish grin formed on his lips, "Great! Sol has told me so much about the first Warriors. How they were able to work together as one and become the most badass team there were was."

It's funny because this is a side of Blaze that I have never seen before. I don't really know how to cope with it. But I act nice and just smile and nod. I have a funny feeling that I'm going to be spending a lot of time with him...

After some time, I begin to yawn. I have so many hours left before I die so I guess I need to spend it with the family, no matter how much I don't want to see them...or their disappointed faces. Standing up, I stretched and called for Ichabob to follow. "Well," I began walking, "As much as I want to stay and chat, I have a family to face. I'll uh...I dunno, try to survive, so wish me luck."

He blinked, obviously befuddled. "What? You're still going to see them? Why not just surprise them at the arena tomorrow?"

I shook my head, "Tempting, but there's a few people that I want to talk to first...and a certain vampire that I want to punch too."

"Ahh." The smug grin was back, "Well have fun then."

I continued to walk and give a half-hearted wave of acknowledgement. Jumping on Ichabob, I grabbed his collar and had him take me back home. On the way, I thought of multiple plans that I could pull off just to avoid my family. I know the twins are looking for me. Nate is probably waiting for me with JJ and Adrian. Jethro is probably with Eva at the hotel having everyone on the lookout for me...how am I going to slip into my room unnoticed?

When the Inn was in view, I halted Ichabob and just sat under a tree with him. No use going in, the boys probably know I'm here. I'll give them five minutes to get here before I go and find that stupid vampire to kill.

And on cue, the twins showed up.

"Mel!" both tackled me from the side. "Where we're you?"

"come on we gotta,"

"go and hide,"

"you from the,"

"warriors."

I rolled my eyes. They had a habit of finishing each other's sentences. "I'm fine, where's the others? I have some news for them..."

"Good?"

"Bad?"

It's funny how Derrick and Erick would ask that at the same time.

"Kind of both?"

They gave me a curious look before lugging me off to see my brothers and Adrian.
