Why? Why would he do this?  I thought to myself, this wasn't the Baekhyun I knew.

I stared into his now deep, red eyes, and I could see a glint of fear and regret. But I could also see something else in his eyes, something that I didn't like. His eyes were also filled with desire and dissatisfaction.

I looked at him in total disbelief, but I was also scared. 'Baek, how could you? I trusted you...' I said under my breath with my lips slightly parted.

He used his long and slender fingers to wipe the remaining blood dripping down from his lips off and stared at me. He grabbed my chin and said, 'You won't understand. I'm a monster of my own. I don't want to hurt any of you, but I couldn't help myself. So stay away from me. Please.'

'N-no, I will not stay away from you. And neither will I forgive you for killing my best friend either.' I walked towards HyunJae's body.

Then I thought of my dream I had days ago. It was the exact same thing. Her pale face, her bloodied neck, her lifeless body. Everything was the same, except that she didn't die in a classroom.

Was it all a dejá vu? Could I perhaps tell the future? What actually am I? And what was Baekhyun?

My mind clouded up with a thousand questions, questions that urgently needed answering to, but I pushed all of them aside as Baekhyun slowly walked towards me.

I got up, but he kept walking towards me. I slowly walked backwards, until I hit the hard brick wall. He still continued walking towards me. I attempted running, but Baekhyun caught me within his grasp and pinned me to the wall.

I looked into his eyes. His eyes were now full of anger. 'You cannot stay by me for another second. I might hurt you. As I told you, I'm a monster myself, I don't even trust myself.

'I just turned into a newborn vampire when my father decided on sending me to school. My grandmother highly disagreed on this point, because a newly born vampire cannot control their cravings for long, and who knows, I might just turn in the middle of class.

'But my father didn't listen like the stubborn person he was. He sent me to school anyway, and I so happen to be placed in the same school as you. As soon as I saw you, I felt my cravings getting stronger, but I had to hold back. As soon as I came back home, I would always prey on the first person I see, draining the life out of them. It obviously didn't help.

'Everytime I see you, I always crave to taste your blood at least once, but I have to stop myself. That's why I cannot be in the same room as you, because my cravings really are almost compulsive and irresistible.'

I looked at him. He slowly crawled onto the floor and sat down. This was irrational. Baekhyun... Was a vampire?

'Baek, I understand. If you crave my blood that much, then you can have it.'

'No, I can't. Because once I start, I can't stop.'

'I'll stop you.'

'No one can.'

He sighed. But I still didn't give up on trying. 'Baek, just do it. If you really can't stop, I don't care if I die.'

He looked at me with an expression of surprise. 'But... are you sure?' I nodded my head vigorously.

I pushed my hair away, exposing my bare neck. He stared at it with desire. He bit on his bottom lip. 'I'm still not so sure. Your skin looks a beautiful milky white. I'm just going to ruin it by spilling innocent blood over it.'

I grabbed his hands and forced him to look at me. 'Baek, just do it. It's OK. I promise you I'll be fine.' He finally nodded his head after intently staring at me with eyes looking unsure.
