STEPHANIE'S POV

We arrived to my house and luckily my parents were on their weekend date night somewhere so we didn't have to worry about the noise that we were making.

Once we were all in the living room, I offered Cassie and Kristina clothes to change into so that we were comfortable, and us three went upstairs to change, Kristina did something that surprised me and I'm pretty sure it surprised Cassie too.

Like apologize, my dearest best friend is a bitch. If anyone at school were to compare us, they would nominate her for queen bitch.

"Hey Cassie, I'm sorry for what I was about to say back at the party, it's just that I didn't think you should have said that about Logan."

What's up with people apologizing but blaming others, I just couldn't help the giggle that escaped my mouth.

"What's so funny Steph?" Kristina asked me.

"Nothing just that you and Logan need classes to learn how to apologize, cause saying 'sorry' before blaming someone isn't really considered an apology." I said as I finished putting on my pajama pants and putting my hair up in a bun.

"Well, I'm just trying to do something you weren't doing, like defending your own boyfriend." she said as she got all up in my face, as much as I love Kristina, she is in my room, using my clothes, and dating my brother, bestfriend or not, I will not tolerate anyone trying to intimidate me.

Cassie looked a bit awkward and scared, "Hey hey, its fine, I'm sorry for my comment towards Logan. And since we're all done why don't we head back downstairs with everyone else?" she said more as a plead then a suggestion.

"Yea, I think you're right, I don't want to fight over someone who isn't worth it." I said as I opened my bedroom door allowing myself to step out and waiting for the girls to come out too.

"Oh then if your boyfriend isn't worth defending then I can just imagine if he wasn't your boyfriend," Kristina said as she slightly bumped into me, I know damn well that she did it on purpose, but I really wasn't about to fight with her. I don't even know what's up her ass.

Cassie and I walked downstairs together just talking about the events that lead up to some West High kids being in my house. Once downstairs I noticed that everyone seemed fine, a couple bruises here and there but nothing that wouldn't fade before school on Monday.

"Hey, I'm really sorry if I caused a fight between you and your boyfriend earlier, I really didn't see you and I didn't even know Logan would be there tonight." Said Jake as he saw Cassie and I walking into the living room. I looked around realizing it was me he was talking to.

"Oh um don't worry, we had an argument earlier in the week and I guess he wasn't over it," I said with a small chuckle, "But what were you doing there? I mean the party was hosted in Michael's house, as far as I'm concerned he's not from West High."

"He usually comes over when there's a party in our side of town, so we have a few friends in common who told us know about tonight, we really weren't looking for trouble, we just wanted to have fun and destress." His friend Aston responded.

"Well that's weird, coming to our side of town, knowing damn well kids from East High were gonna be there. And right after you guys changed our welcoming sign." said Kristina with hate in her voice, Darren just looked at her with disapproval.

"Anyways, thanks for the help mate, I can't believe those guys really came at us like that. We're from the same team god damn it!" Jayden said as he did a bro-handshake with Aston and Jake, "Just wait till I see them soon, specially Logan, he thinks he can just handle Stephanie like that."

"I mean he had a right to do that due to the situation, she wasn't exactly being too mature herself now were you bestie?" said Kristina, once again getting disapproving looks.

"Hey, I didn't say anything earlier because it's between you and Stephanie, but what's your problem now? You've been attacking her since we went upstairs." said Cassie coming to my aide.

With that Kristina made a 'what are you talking about' face and looked at Darren as to see if he would defend her.

"You know what, if your sister doesn't want to defend Logan from these people then that's her problem but I would at least expect for you to defend me and not let the hoe talk to me like that, specially in front of kids from West High. Why are they still here anyways? They're the enemy." Kristina said.

"Babe, he's my mate and all but I won't defend someone who treats my sister like how he did tonight and still fight us, we are teammates. Jake and Aston at least helped Jayden when they teamed up against him. To me, and I'm sure that to the rest of us, they aren't enemies. They have earned our respect." said Darren as he pulled Kristina closer to him trying to kiss her.

She was wasn't having it though, she pulled out her phone and texted someone.

It's been ten minutes since she sent out her text and she still hasn't directed a single word towards any of us so we just let her be.

We started playing a question game to get familiarized with Jake and Aston, right now we were teasing Alex about who his first kiss was, you would expect Cassie to get jealous or upset but she was actually doing most of the teasing.

"Ok ok I told you all, now Jake, how old are you?" asked Alex, "you don't seem like a freshman but neither like a Senior, are you perhaps a sophomore or junior?"

"I'm actually a sophomore haha," responded Jake.

"What about you Aston?" asked Jayden

"I'm a freshman, I'm actually Jake's cousin" said Aston.

It was my turn to ask  question so I decided to pick someone that has been quiet the most, "Ok my question is towards my dearest friend over there," I said glancing at Kristina, "why are you being such a bitch today?"

Before she even had a chance to kill me with her stare the bell rang, "Oh look! Saved by the doorbell!" I said between laughs as Jake stood up to open the door.

I'm impressed at how he took Alex's 'feel at home' to heart.

Hey how is this chapter? Who could be at the door? Who was Kristina texting? Are West High kids really not that bad?
