8. Bitches at the Mall

"Look who goes there, a bunch of pussies!" I hear a very obnoxious laugh coming from a nearby spot near the Panther Spot. 

I knew right away it belonged to Cassandra, just my luck.

"Omg why are the Wolves here? Aren't they embarrassed about the fact that they LOST!!" Jessica said loud enough for the West High students to hear.

"Look kitty, you were walking right past us without saying hi, we just want you to be polite." Said Samuel, the West High Quarterback and he picked a strand of Jessica's hair. 

"Don't touch her. We don't have any obligation to be polite to anyone." I said as I stepped in between them.

"Ahh Sanders, I see you still have guts, how are those brothers' of your?" Samuel turned his attention to me and lifted my chin with his fingers. 

You see, we actually know each other pretty damn well. 

LITTLE FLASHBACK AND INTRODUCTION OF SAMUEL 

Samuel and Alex were best friends since elementary but that changed when Diana came into the picture.

 Diana and Alex were dating since 8th grade all the way till their sophomore when he found  her and Samuel together, you would think that because they were just sophomores they wouldn't do certain things but I guess not. 

Alex was so hurt but he really liked Diana, he thought they loved each other, Diana and Samuel, so he decided to just let them be together for the sake of Diana's happiness. Turns out Samuel was always jealous of Alex because he was way more athletic, smarter, better looking, that he thought getting Diana would make him better. 

You can technically say Samuel hit it and quit it and he left Diana like a used rag. That angered Alex, he thought he an overlook his best friend stealing his girl, but he couldn't stand the fact he broke Diana's heart. 

Darren never liked Samuel, he disliked him even more last year when the problem with Diana happened. But what really took my brothers, and Jayden, to the limit was when I told Jayden Samuel was hitting on me being all nasty and making crude comments. 

Jayden being Jayden decided to tell my brothers. That night even my dad wanted to kick his ass, and my dad isn't a violent person. But unlike my brothers, my dad didn't go look for Samuel to beat him up.

 At first it was just Jayden, keep in mind we were just in 8th grade ourselves and Samuel was a sophomore. When my twin found out he went to look for Jayden to help him. Samuel beat them both up pretty bad. 

Alex stepped in. They had a major fight and the police was involved. Let's just say that my parents weren't too proud but they weren't mad at my siblings. Samuel's parents decided to transfer him to West HIgh. 

END OF INTRODUCTION

"They're much better than what I imagine you would want them to be," I said as I moved my head away from his touch. 

I saw Jake with Austin and I smiled at them, Austin smiled back but Jake looked away. What's his problem?

"Look you guys won the game last year but don't you want to hang out with the soon-to-be winners of this years game?" Samuel said. "This year we have a great player, he wasn't starting last year but he is this year and let's just say he told us about the things that went down between the Kitty team."

Did Jake really say that? I thought we were friends, I glanced back to look over at them and Austin looked just as shocked. 

"I got places to be and better things to do then listen to all this bitches bark." I said as my girls and I started walking away.

"Aww, kitty has no claws, I guess this panthers are just housecats." Cassandra spoke up.

"Cassandra grow up, you're in high school." I said as I kept walking. 

I have no idea about what happened between the moment I turned around and now because next thing you know I was on the floor with Cassandra's weight over me. 

Realizing the no-life got me from behind, I quickly pushed myself off the floor and started returning the hits, or a least I was doing the hitting, she was just pulling my hair. 

I was beating her up and I think I was winning when I suddenly felt someone's hands pulling me away. As I was getting pulled I looked over at Cassandra noting that Samuel was pulling her.

When I turned to look at what asshole was pulling me, I saw that it was Jake. I got even more heated.

"Let me go you scum! Let me go before I beat your ass too! My brothers trusted you, I trusted you, we let you into our home" I kept saying as I was trying to swing my arms at him, randomly landing some hits. 

"Yo let her go you punk," I heard Jessica say as she came close to us trying to get Jake's hands off me. I then saw when Samuel let Cassandra out of his grip and she jumped on Jessica. 

I was super mad at this point and everyone in the mall was just watching us with disapproving looks. 

"I'm pretty sure my girl said to let her go right?" I heard Logan's voice through the commotion. 

Jake finally released me from his grasp and I instantly went to Cassandra. 

"No one touches my team," I said as I helped Jessica get Cassandra off of her. Jessica had never fought in her life, I know, she's tough for someone that has never been involved in a fight.

"Steph that's enough." I heard Alex's voice as Logan came to get me and Jayden came to get Jessica. 

I instantly stepped away when I heard Alex's voice, I turned around to see that Maria, another team member was next to them. She probably went to get them when the fight broke out. 

Cassie and Kristy instantly went to my side when Cassandra and her minions came and got all up in my face.

"Don't even try it, you bitches only know pussy fight and I just put my hair in a braid." Kristy said as she stepped forward.

"Pussy fight? How ironic, an actually kitty talking about pussies, Why don't you walk away? Go catch a rat or something." Cassandra said and her minions were laughing.

"If you don't stop talking like that to my friends, instead of catching balls like the bitch that you are, you'll be catching my fade. You claim you're so tough cause you caught my girl off guard, but in reality you're all bark no bite and let me tell you, you're barking at the wrong fucken tree." Cassie said as she also stepped forward.

At that moment Alex stepped in and said, "That's my motherfreaking GIRLFRIEND!"

"Hey old friend, how have things been?" Samuel stepped up to Alex, who's smiled quickly turned into a blank expression. 

"Bro, let's go, he's not worth it." Darren said as he came up behind Alex with Jayden by their side. 

"Look, I just want to wish you luck since I know your team is falling apart," Samuel said. 

All three of my brothers, yes I included Jayden as one of my brothers cause at this point he's family, turned to look at me with confused glances. I turned and pointed at Jake, who was avoiding our glances. 

My boyfriend stepped up to the coward, "You mean Jacob? What would he know?" 

"Everything is fine between us, the team is solid and firm, we had an argument that day, we all did stuff but as a team we got through it. Whether we fall apart or not, it has nothing to do with you, just focus on a way to try and attempt to win the game." Logan continued on as he stepped next to my brothers, the members of the team that were at the mall also stepped up and stood behind the four of them.

Samuel seemed confused at how solid we all were. Yet, his team didn't take his back, they all were looking to see what would happen next.

And with that Samuel turned around and left.

Take that West High! That Jake is really something, I would never had imagined he would be like that. Anyways, Logan surprised me, he really stood up for the team.
