16. The Bayou Bomb

1×19- An Unblinking Death

Luna was walking with Elijah, around the bayou and she saw all the young and older werewolfs and she couldn't stop thing about her pack of hybrids that she made a year ago and no one knew about but her, just in case something bad happens.

Elijah and I walk towards the cabin where Hayley is at. And we stop at the doorway.

"Pardon the interruption. We wonder if we might have a quick word with the conspirators of a supposed uprising." Elijah asked and they looked at us.

Later, Elijah and I meets with Jackson and Oliver, along with Eve and Hayley. "You're making a grave mistake." Elijah says and Oliver and jackson look at us. "So, you're just worried about us. Is that it?" Oliver asked him.

"Look, Elijah. We know all about your brother's reputation, but if there is even a chance that these rings can help us take control of our curse --" Jackson gets cut off by Oliver.

"-- Our gift --"

"--Then, honestly, we don't care what he's really after. Won't have to." Jackson says and they look at me but I stay quiet. "I see. There are those in the Quarter who will consider this a great provocation."

"Apparently, most of them see us breathing the same way." Oliver tells us and Elijah looks at Hayley. "You signed a pledge, and you looked me in the eye as you did so." Elijah points out to her and she looks at him.

"We don't want a fight, Elijah. We just want a better life." Hayley tells him.

"Allegiance with our brother will guarantee you anything but that." I say to her and she looks at me as we stop as we hear a motorcycle approaching us.

"What the hell?" I say as the man arrives and we look at him. "Which one of you is in charge?" The man asked.

"Who's asking?" Jackson asked him and Elijah notices something and so does Luna and she was going to tackle him but Elijah beat her to it and the bike explodes and it sends us backwards.

Luna groaned as she felt something burning her skin. "Ahhh!" She yells out in agony and looks at her down part of her body and saw a big piece of wood stuck in her stomach and I tried to pull it out but I couldn't take it out.

"Elijah!" I call out as I heard people around me screaming.

Elijah picks himself up off the ground and he looks at his clothes and skin are all singed and covered in ash and It takes a moment for Elijah's ears to heal enough to hear anything and he sees injured people all around him stumbling around and then he heard Luna.

"Elijah." He heard her call out and vamp speeded towards her and he saw her bleeding out her mouth. "Help me." Luna tells him and he grabs the wood and pull out the stake and Luna sighs in relief and he kneels in front of her and cheeks her out. "Are you okay?" He asked Luna and she nods. "Yeah, kinda." I say and he sticks his hand out and I grabbed it.

"Lets look for Hayley." I tell him and I frown in pain, holding my side and then we found Hayley. "Hayley." We call out and she looks at us.

"Elijah, Luna." She says as we see her with a man and I kneel infront of the injured man and I lift his shirt up and I see the burn, and I sniffed him and smelled wolfsbane.

"Wolfsbane." I point out and they looked at me. "No wonder, my skin is burning like shit." I say to them. "It must have been in the gas tank. You're the fastest. Take him, anyone else who can't walk on their own." Hayley says and Elijah looks at Hayley in concern. "Its okay, Elijah. I'm fine. They need your help." She tells him.

"Both of your help." He says and I nod at her as I vamp speeded around and helped others

Later, I walked towards Elijah and so does Jackson. "Is she okay?" Jackson asked her and Elijah looks at us.

"Apparently, yes." He said and Jackson nods. "It's a good thing that bomb went off where it did. Could've been a lot worse. We all could've got killed." He said and I looked at him.

"Don't jinks it." I say to him as Elijah stays quiet for a while and I frown and I see Elijah panic.

"Unless..." He stops and I look where He was looking at and my eyes went wide. "Oh, shit." I breath out and I look at Jackson. "Get everyone out of here! Now!" I say as eight explosions happened and it blew them away and Luna got up more weak then she was and then another one behind me happened and i groaned.

"Fuck." I cussed out.

"Help! Somebody help!" I heard Oliver and we see Oliver struggling and I raised my hands up. "Motus." I breath out and the RV goes up and Elijah picks her up and we go into her shack and Elijah laid her on the bed.

"Ahhhh. Oh, no." She said in pain and Elijah examine's Eve's injuries as I leaned against the wall and hold my stomach. "That wound should be healing by now." Elijah says.

"She never killed anyone, never activated the werewolf gene. So she can't heal, not like us." He said and I get up and looked at him.

"My blood, it could heal her." I tell him and he looks at me with a glare.

"Vampire blood? Trust me, she'd rather die."Oliver says. "Look, we can't just let them get away with this." Oliver said and Jackson stands up. "We don't even know who's to blame." Jackson says.

"The hell we don't! And if we don't fight back, they'll just do it again." Oliver says and Jackson stands defiantly against him, and Oliver, frustrated, runs out of the shack.
