Chapter 3

It was late by the time the competition ended and the victory party ran a little too late.Namjoon and an excited Jisoo dropped Jimin by the campus gate past 1 in the morning.Jimin was too tired and debated if it was a good idea to just snuggle onto the park bench.His legs seemed too tired to carry him up the stairs,but then again the weather was too chilly for his liking.He remembered his new roommate might be already sleeping as he turned the key.Sure,he was.The lights were off and the empty bed at the other end,once slept on by his beloved Taemin hyung, seemed occupied.A tall figure cuddled upto a pillow and giant sheets hiding him to expose a crop of black hair.Jimin slowly made his way to the washroom changing quickly into his sweats and made bare minimum sound as he got onto his bed.He tried to catch a glimpse of his new room mate when the boy turned around letting the blanket fall off his face but Jimin couldn't make it out in the faint street lights.Well,the boy is going to be here for the rest of his term,So no rush.Jimin felt stupid as he tried to close his eyes and fall asleep.In less than three hours,he would be awake anyway.Damn the 4 am!!

When Taehyung got up,his room mate had already gone,it's only 6 in the morning.Does he have classes so early?Taehyung's first thought was that the guy might not even have made it back last night but the bag on the chair and a pair of socks by the foot of the bed confirmed he had been there.Taehyung decided he'd meet him in the evening.For now, he had to set off early.He had a certain someone to find.This was what he was waiting for the past 5 years.The campus was waking up when Taehyung walked around,his eyes scanning every nook and corner.He had thoughts to go to Yoongi's dorm and wake him up but he was too young to die.His classes weren't that far and it starts only around at 8 so he settled onto a bench spreading the map,Jin gave him,and tried to figure out the buildings he had classes on.He was too immersed into the map that he failed to notice a hooded figure jogging past him,earphone plugged.

"Gosh,Jimin",Jisoo said,taking a seat opposite to him.Jimin looked up from his phone and cocked his head in confusion.
"That Jungkook is literally swooning over you,I bet he has no idea what his friends are talking about",Jisoo answered as a reply.Jimin had not noticed Jungkook's presence at all,He turned around to look at the golden boy who had the decency to grin cheekly and wave his hand a little.His friends made a teasing "Ooooh".Jimin smiled before turning around to face Jisoo.
"You gonna say yes?",Jisoo was this annoying nosy person.
"I'll think about it",He said.Honestly there was no reason to not say no to Jungkook.The guy was the perfect ideal type of everyone,men and women alike.And Jimin did make a comment once to Hoseok that the boy is just amazing when they walked in on him dancing to an upbeat hip hop.Although Contemporary was his style,Jimin got inspired from Jungkook to try hip hop.
"Maybe you can ask him to teach you hip hop and be friends and see where it goes",Jisoo casually said,looking around for Namjoon.
"Get out of my head,Jisoo",Jimin whined.He hated that the girl can read his thoughts that simple.She always says it's because they had been around each other for so long but Jimin could read shit off Jisoo's mind.But there was someone he knew like the back of his hand.But we don't talk about dead people,according to Jimin.

"How's your roomie?",Namjoon asked the first thing to Jimin as he joined the duo for lunch.
"I don't know.He was asleep when I got back yesterday and he was gone by the time I returned from jogging",Jimin shrugged.
"Oh!I told him you'd help him find classes"
"Seems like he figured it out himself,What's his name though ? Thought I'll get him the Varsity Jacket as welcome present"
"Oh,Forever sweet Park Jimin",Jisoo cooed at Jimin who send her a death glare,"That's my attempt at making friends.I am not good at talking"
"I can't remember his name..Um... Kim Something"
"Kimchi?"
"Haha ,very funny"
"For a guy with IQ 148 you can't remember the name of a guy you met yesterday",Jimin scoffed.
"I don't keep useless information in my head.If it's any relief I didn't know your name for a week after I met you"
"That's true,He'd ask me where is your short guy friend",Jisoo supplied and the couples started laughing.
"These are the kind of people my mom warned me exactly about",Jimin said picking up his vibrating phone to answer Hoseok's call.

Jisoo started pulling her homework out for Namjoon to do,who was still trying to figure out Jimin's roommate's name.
"Practice is cancelled for tomorrow ,Hyung is going to hometown",Jimin sighed and placed the phone on the table,looking down.
"You can hang out with us then",Jisoo offered knowing how Jimin doesn't like to be alone.
"Oh!No thanks,I am doing enough hanging out already with you two",Jimin quickly remarked.
"Not offended at all,But hey there's someone you can hang out with,ahem ahem",Jisoo wiggled her eyebrows in an annoying way.Jimin made a point by ignoring.Jisoo suddenly put her hands up,waving at Jungkook.
Jungkook looked around to make sure it was him,she was calling.
"Yeah?",He asked from his table.
"Jimin said yes and asked if you'll be free for tomorrow for a date.He 's too shy to ask hims-",Jimin slapped his hand over Jisoo's,alarm and blush evident on his face.He wanted the ground to eat him alive,it can't get more embarassing than this.

Jungkook's face broke into that trademark bunny smile and called out at Jimin,"I'll let you know when"
Jimin gave him an embarassed smile and turned to glare at Jisoo before he swung his bag and left.Jungkook was seen following him.Jisoo was satisfied.
"Poor kid",Namjoon shook his head at his girlfriend.
"Whaaat!! I was helping him out.He'd never take the first step"
"Alright,alright..AH!! I got it!!"
Jisoo was startled at Namjoon's sudden shout.
"What?!"
"Jimin's roommate's name!"
"Oh useless information"
Namjoon pouted making Jisoo giggle before she leant up to kiss his pout.
"Alright,what's his name?"
Namjoon,now lightened up and smiling, said,"Kim Taehyung..Kim Taehyung from Daegu"

Jisoo's eyes widened and the phone in her hand fell heavily onto the floor.
