Chapter 11: #lastweeksvagina

Tonight is homecoming. I went shopping with June and picked a dress. It's somewhat conservative. It's black with a fitted lace bodice and a black full skirt. I did not want anything that would show cleavage, it does have a scoop neck but high enough that these babies should stay nice and tucked in. The only thing that could go wrong is if I decided to go upside down and then of course gravity would take over. But why would I? June was pushing for me to get this trendy two piece dress that showed a sliver of my stomach. I wish I had the confidence but I can't pull that off. She ended up getting it.

My mom does my hair which I hate but I don't know how to do hair and June is busy getting ready for her big date with Neko. She's in love with Neko. She has been sneaking out every night to see him and I don't like it.

My mom is going on and on and on about how I have the most gorgeous hair she's ever seen. I don't know why she's acting like a loving mother to me right now? I wish she would shut up and finish my pinterest hair. She is trying to achieve a swoopy, messy braid, the kind June wore to the mall that day. I don't have much faith in her.

"Jax.....do you have feelings for Jonas or Tosh?" She asks me with a bobby pin in the corner of her lip.

I stare at her with a look of despair.I loathe her and she knows it. Plus, how would she take it, if I told her that Jonas has made my vagina quiver many times over the last few weeks. It wasn't just those two times. It happened again when he whispered in my ear during Calculus, it happened when he grabbed my hand in the movie the other night, and it happened this morning when he brought me IN-N-OUT for brunch. He just handed me a bag full of fries and said, "Good Morning." and my virgin, naive vagina quivered. Makes no sense. Anyways, I can't tell her any of this because she's my mom!

"No....do you? Seems you kind of drool when Jonas is around." I mutter out while staring at my phone screen. I feel her eyes boring into me so I glance at her in the mirror and she looks stunned, hurt and a little pissed off at me so I shift uncomfortably in my chair. Maybe that was too far. "Sorry."I say softly.

A few minutes of awkward silence passes......

"I was just curious.......only because you haven't shown much interest in boys since...." I cut her off.

"I'm not interested in Jonas or Tosh." I spit at her with a death glare. She almost look sfrightened and for the next 20 minutes she finishes my hair in silence.

I meet Tosh in the front yard and our moms take pictures. Jonas is bringing Cheryl. I think he's secretly  in love with her. He swears he's not but why else invite her to homecoming? Joey's bringing a cute new girl named Shayla. He had relations with Regina and is now onto Shayla. It has been three weeks since he slept with Regina. To be honest I'm a little disappointed in him for being so slutty. There has to be a better word for it but right now that is the best word to describe him. Joey Jones is a slut! I hope Regina is not hurt, she was a nice girl. June is pretending to go with Sabrina because she knows mom wouldn't want her going out with the Fire-Starter.

Cheryl glares at me while the moms want a picture of just me and the boys. Then I feel like she is going to stab my eyes out with her acrylics when my mom suggests Jonas and I recreate a picture from 6th grade graduation of him giving me a piggy back ride while we are wearing our graduation clothes. It was a cute picture with our gangly teeth still too big for our tiny faces.

"Please guys, I don't want to do that." I shrug but Jonas has already bent in front to help me jump on his back. Joey is howling like he's a friggin' werewolf while Tosh is pushing my butt with his hands to Jonas. I turn around and swat his hand off my ass and he quickly pushes his hand in front of my boob like he's gonna touch it. I laugh out loud and then kick him in the shin.
