                          ******************

The whole rest of the week is far past weird.
I ate lunch the rest of the week at the taco truck with June. I broke the taco truck record and ate 7 tacos today. Then in Culinary when I felt so sick I wanted to barf I ate my entire serving of vegetarian, gluten free lasagna that Tosh made. It was just as disgusting as it sounded. Hannah switched groups and now we have a foreign exchange student named Seamus, pronounced Shay-mus. I can't understand a thing he says with his thick Scottish/Irish accent but he is pretty cute and he may have made my vagina quiver when he called me Lass. I have made this much out, his mom is scottish and his dad is Irish. He splits his time between the two locations.

After I finished the disgusting Lasagna, Seamus and I were on dish duty and he asked me out.

"Seamus, I don't date because I'm crazy." I said and he looked at me confused.

"Sure...but I am too Lass." He said. "I just want someone to go to the movies with me tonight." At least that is what I thought he said.

"If you promise not to hit on me I will go with you. As friends?" I asked.

So, we are leaving straight after school and going.

When we all sit down at the end of class I tell Jonas and Tosh, "You boys get a ride home from Gavin. I'm going straight from school to see a movie with Seamus."

Tosh laughs and gives me a high five while Seamus talks to the Teacher. Tosh looks elated which makes me laugh. He's such a goofball.

Jonas, who has barely said three words to me all week says, "You don't even know him."

"Don't start....he's harmless." I say holding my hand up while I write my name on my assignment before getting up and walking to the basket to turn it in. Never once looking at Jonas.

When the bell rings Seamus and I walk up to my car together. I start to have a mild case of anxiety thinking of Jonas words.

You don't even know him.

"Do you ever look around this school and wonder why all the students are so blah?" He asks with a look of disgust. "It's been hard for me to make friends here. Quality ones anyway."

I take a deep breath. "Yeah....this place is basically torture for me. Did you see anything on social media about me this week?" I ask.

"No." He says and his smile looks mischievous.

I squint my eyes in suspicion. "Seamus, did you?"

"No, Lass." He laughs holding his hands up. "You got trust issues, eh?"

"I told you I'm crazy." I laugh and he laughs with me. We climb in my car and I tell him all about my vagina shot heard round the world and he seems so confused.

"A slut? A whore?" He asks completely dumbfounded. "Lass, I'm terribly sorry."

"Tell me a funny story about home?" I ask ready to change the subject.

I know after our heart to heart that Seamus is completely harmless as I told Jonas. His boyish charm and wit are something I really need after my week. His stories are funny and make me laugh the rest of the drive. Honestly, when he gets excited it's more of me laughing about how I can barely understand what he is saying. He has these slightly crooked teeth that add so much character to his scruffy face. He needs a shave. He asks me to take him to the liquor store. He runs in and comes out with a bottle of whiskey that he pours in a flask he keeps in his inside pocket of his jacket. I don't know how, him only being 17, he was able to get that and when I ask his answer is unintelligible to me. It's frustrating but it's also hysterical with him yelling out, how he got it and me trying to understand. Through the concession stand line, I finally make out that the owner of the liquor store is his Uncle? I decide to change the subject because how is his uncle here, but he's a foreign exchange student living with a strange family? Why not live with his uncle?
