The third quarter of school has flown by. I Just got back from Southern California with my family and we released June's ashes as she wanted. It was hard and emotional but it also felt nice to honor her. My dad and his wife Ruthie came and I have been trying to be nicer. I haven't forgiven him the way I did my mom but I know I have too. Joey and I are going to dinner with him tonight and I'm getting dressed to do just that. Jonas is laying on my bed hungrily gazing at me while I put a bra on. Makes me wonder if all guys love to watch their girlfriends do the simple, menial task of putting clothes on.

"I missed you so much while you were gone." Two nights is how long I was gone but I can totally relate to him. It was hard. As soon as I got home we ripped each others clothes off. We're like complete and total nymphomaniacs. We are also extremely attached to one another, we sleep together almost every night despite our moms still reading us a riot act every time we get caught. Jonas and I are so in love, I swear if 5 minutes goes by without him it's as though my heart starts searching for his. Like a small panic takes over me.

"After this dumb dinner we have camping to look forward to." I remind him. Hazel and Tosh and I are going camping up North for two nights. Jonas has a few days of practice when we get home and a big game Saturday and then Sunday we leave for 7 nights to Puerto Penasco with his parents. I'm really looking forward to boning him in a tent and in a third world country.

"Come here." He whines. I jump on top of him and kiss him. "Call me as soon as you get home so I can come over."

"I will. I can't wait to sleep with you tonight. It was torturous for me to sleep away from you."

"Jax!" Joey barges in. "Let's go! Dad's waiting!" I laugh at his disgusted face at catching me on top of Jonas. I quickly peck Jonas one last time and grab my converse and slide them on.

My dad is parked on the curb waiting for us and I get the same panicked feeling I always have when I see him. He has something he wants to talk to us about. We just spent so much time with him in California I could of done without this dinner. Joey of course is beside himself at the new attention he has been showing us. Has been coming to Joey's club football games and he even took Joey out for a Cardinals game in January, Joey was stoked. On Valentines day he sent me a picture in a frame of me on his shoulders at a local festival. I was maybe five. It also came with a dozen pink roses and a new charm for my bracelet. It wasn't unnoticed by myself that the charm was a diamond, I yelled at him for giving June diamonds over christmas. It was thoughtful....but I also felt a little like a black-mailer myself. I still put the charm on my bracelet because it's pretty and sparkly.

"Hey Dad." Joey beams when he climbs in the front seat.

"Hey JoJo." He ruffles his hair and turns to look at me in the back seat. "Hi Baby."

I close my eyes so I don't roll them. "Hey Trevor." I say and immediately feel my phone ding. I look down and see Joey's name.

Joey: Be nice!

Me: Fine.

He pulls off the curb and turns the radio on. He turns and smiles while he sings along to Give Peace a Chance by John Lennon. I look away out the window.

Joey and dad talk with the song still playing.

"Where you wanna go?" My dad asks him.

"Wherever." Joey beams.

"Baby, you got a place in mind?" He turns and smiles at me.

"Somewhere close." I say without looking at him. The song ends and the next one is something I recognize right away. You Were Always on my Mind by Elvis. What did he come up with a playlist to woo his daughter with.
