Chapter 29: Final Hours

(A/n): What the shit? Two chapters in one day!? Well I don't hear any complaining. Anyway this chapter will be a combination of  portions of World War Mario and a more heroic spin of Final Hours. I hope everyone is enjoying this story, and have a wonderful day!

Desti feels herself waking up. She tries to move but felt restricted. She looked down and saw she was wrapped in chains. Axol woke up next to her.

Axol: What? What happened?

Desti tried to remember, then it hit her. After her and Meggy beat up all the Cartel members, Francis showed up with some blonde guy and he kicked their asses. She looks forward as she hears a cry of pain. It was Meggy! She was inside the Ink Zuccer, and it was activated.

Francis: It's working!

A Cartel member runs into the room.

C.M.: Senpai! The invaders are inside the base!

Francis: But I'm so close! Stop them at all costs!

C.M.: Yes, sir!

Francis: Looks like I'm going to have to speed things up a bit.

Francis pulls a switch all the way forward putting the Zuccer at 100% power! Meggy screams out in pain.

Axol: Francis! Stop this at once!

Desti: You're going to kill her if you keep going!

Francis: She'll be fine! Meggy's a strong girl.

He begins laughing, until an explosion interrupts him. Mario and Luigi could be heard.

Francis: God dammit. Watch the prisoners. I'll deal with the intruders myself...

As Meggy was crying out and screaming in pain, Axol and Desti could only watch.

Desti: Axol, isn't there anything we can do?

Axol: I...I do not know...

Desti: What do you mean you don't know?!

Axol: I mean... Y/n is usually the one who comes up with a plan. But since he isn't here...

Desti: Axol... You need to get. It. Together!

He looks up confused.

Desti: From the small time I've known Y/n, yes he is a smart, and reliable, and a great friend. But you know he isn't going to be there for you all the time! You know he'd want you to do something for yourself. He isn't here right now, and Axol, you are a smart guy. You also know more about this anime crap! So please, for you, me, Meggy and Y/n, come up with a plan to get us out and save Meggy!

After thinking for a bit, Axol looks up at Mewtwo.

Axol: Hey, Mewtwo!

Mewtwo: U Wot?!

Axol: I'd choose a Magikarp over you any day!

This pissed the clone off and he pulled Axol out of the chains holding him. He was flung into the control table. Getting up, he had a small tablet.

"Who's that Pokemon?!" 

A silhouette of Mewtwo was shown on the screen.

Axol: It's a dumbass!

The enraged clone picked up a large metal pipe and charged forward. Axol leaped away at the last minute, causing the clone to crash into the control panel, destroying it. The explosion blasted away Mewtwo and killed it, causing it to drop a key to Desti's binds.
