As the door before them opened, the girls could do nothing but watch. Once the door fully opened, six figures walked out of the light. Their eyes widened as the boys who just died, engulfed by the black flames, came back. And in their gear no less.
Skull: What the hell? Were back in the Kingdom?
Crow: Right, this is were we disappeared after all.
The guys then look around, before finally spotting the girls. It took them a moment to comprehend it all, but when they finally moved, there was no stopping them. As you felt Meggy slam into you, holding you close again, crying in relief. No words were needed as you held her, letting her know you really were here.
King: It seems like people still haven't realized that this abnormality has taken over the world.
Fox: Look! The door we just came through, isn't it the Quarantine cell?
Mona: That's right. It was actually the Velvet Room, which had been swallowed by the distortions.
Skull: Wait, if we came outta there, does that mean WE'RE the criminals? No, it was Y/n, he was the one in here all this time.
Mona: Most likely, Y/n had been under the malicious guidance of the evil god for quite some time. The Velvet Room originally existed to nurture the human mind, but after it was taken over it was sealed inside that bastard's nest. Inside Mementos.
Saiko: Uhhh... more importantly, why are you shining?
It was true, Mona was indeed shining, and we aren't the only ones who saw it.
Man: Hey, do you see something shining?
Woman: Yeah, and what's with those weirdly dressed people?
Boy: Hey I've seen those costumes before, It's the Phantom Thieves!
Meggy: People are starting to remember you...
Joker: Yeah, but only a few people. Hey, where's everyone else?
Tari: They went up there.
She pointed to the large temple. The temple that held the Holy Grail. You nod and head towards it, but Meggy grabbed your hand and walked with you.
Meggy: You're not going without me this time.
You stare at her for a while before nodding. You all made your way up the ramp. No Shadows got in your way. Once you reach the entrance of the temple, you pick Meggy up and jump down, the rest of your team following after. Once you land, there he was floating. Waiting for you. Mario and the others staring at the floating man, until they look over at you in shock.
Yaldabaoth: Rebels who choose to deny the Prison of Regression... Why do you mere humans still oppose me?!
King: Stop acting like your some kind of god! Your just a Treasure that's running out of control!
Yaldabaoth: Fools... Do you still not understand? Your actions will not save a single soul.
He laughs maniacally before transforming into the Holy Grail.
Yaldabaoth: How do you think it is that I became a god to begin with? The freedom not to choose. The freedom not to think. If every person pushed the burdens of their lives upon others, nobody would have to act for themselves. And who should be there to receive those burdens?
Joker: Are you saying that's you?!
Yaldabaoth: Precisely! Humanity itself wished for the Holy Grail to be a god that would rule over them! If you all continue to reject that order, there will no longer be a place for you in this world!
