It had been a few months since that night Angel had awoken Alastor. A few months since they started dating. Now Alastor paced in his room while he kept touching his pocket that held a little box inside. The box held a ring. When Alastor's had seen this ring, he knew he had to use it for his proposal to Angel. It was the perfect ring. There was only one problem. How to do it.
Alastor knew he could ask, but he wanted it to be special. No one else knew what he was planning because he couldn't risk Angel finding out.
"What to do, what to do." Alastor repeated as he kept pacing. He plopped onto his bed and pulled out the ring. "Angel deserves something really special." Alastor got an idea, but would Charlie let him? Also, Angel wasn't on drugs anymore, so....wait! The plan formed in Alastor's mind. He smiled. This would be the perfect proposal.

"Come on, Al! Where are you taking me?" Angle had been dying to know where they were going on this date. All Alastor had said was that it was to celebrate Angel being drug free for two months. Finally the car stopped and Alastor opened Angel's door for him.
"Here we are!" Al said in his usual cheery tone. Angel realized they were on a bridge that crossed over a river.
"So....why are we here?" Angel's eyes widened when Alastor pulled out a bag of drugs.
"Oh don't worry my dear! I thought a nice way to celebrate your two months drug free would be throwing these drugs into the water!" Alastor smiled bigger. Angel looked at the drugs and Alastor.
"Um...okay, Bambi."
"Wonderful!" Alastor opened the bag. "There should be enough for us to both grab a handful." Alastor poured have into his palm, then he turned his palm upside down and the drugs dropped into the water. He poured the other half into Angel's, but Angel felt something sink through the pile in his hand and hit his palm. It was small and metallic.
He reached his fingers in to pull it out. He dumped the drugs and looked at what had been hidden within them. It was a ring with a pink jewel and a black band shaped like a serpent. He realized it was a wedding ring. Alastor's cane began to play music.
The cane stood on it own as Alastor took the ring from Angel's hand and got on his knee.
"Angel Dust. I have been wanting to do this for a long time." He held up the ring. "Will you marry me and make me the happiest demon in Hell?" Angel dis hesitate to answer.
"Yes!" Alastor smiled and slid the ring on Angel's finger. When he stood up, Angel really Alastor was crying tears if joy. Angel began to cry form joy too. Then we hugged Alastor and kissed him many times. They stayed in their embrace for a while before heading home to tell everyone the news.
As always, Charlie got the most excited and started going on about wanting to help plan, Nifty wanted to cook, Husker would bartend, and Vaggie would probably help Charlie. But Angel and Alastor didn't worry about that. They just walked past the chatter. Into Angel's room, cuddled up with Fat Nuggets to watch a movie, and then fell asleep in each other's arms.
Charlie walked up there the next morning to wake Angel and found them. She called everyone into the room to see the adorable sight. Of course they had to scram when Angel and Alastor woke up and Alastor's eyes flickered to radio dials.
"What do you want to do today?" Alastor's asked as I'd he hadn't just scared the crap out of their friends.
"I just wanna stay here and sleep." Angel said as he stretched out his legs.
"I like that idea." Alastor smiled again as he wrapped his arm around Angel and they drifted off into sleep again.
