Chapter 5

Natalie's P.O.V

Life had been very uneventful since the birth of the twins, and I just craved some alone time with Chris. Now a days the only alone time we had together was when we laid down for bed a night. Chris had gone to get some formula and diapers for the boys, and I was now working on cleaning the kitchen, and washing the huge pile of clothes that was overflowing out of the clothes hamper in our bathroom. 

I had just loaded the first pile of clothes into the washer, when I felt arms circle around me. "Hey," I started, "You're back soon?" I finished with a questioning tone to my voice. 

"Yeah, I was wondering if you would accompany me on a date tonight?" Chris questioned with a hopeful tone to his voice. 

"Sure, I just gotta call Lauren and Brock and see if they'll watch the rugrats." I replied with a smile, I quickly kissed Chris on the lips, and made my way to get my phone in the kitchen. 

I dialed Brock's number, and a few rings later he answered groggily, "Hello?" He stated more as a question. 

"Brock, I need a favor?" I asked with a hopeful tone to my voice.

This caught his attention, and he quickly came out of his sleep-like state, "Yeah, what is it?" He asked.

"Could you watch the twins tonight?" I asked, again with the same hopeful tone.

"Sure, what time are you bringing them over?" He asked in reply.

"About 7." I replied.

"Okay, see ya then." He said and hung up the phone before I could say bye.

Chris and I packed the boys' diaper bag, and I soon got into the shower. When I was finished showering, Chris got in and took his shower. I made my way into our large closet, and I picked out my outfit and shoes. I put the clothes on, and then tended to my hair and makeup. By the time both of us finished what we had to do, it was 6:15. 

We grabbed the boys, put them into their car seats, and then made our way out to the Range Rover. Not even ten minutes into the ride, Percy and Elias were already asleep. When we got Brock's house on the outskirts of Boston, we quickly took them inside along with their diaper bag. After a quick conversation with Brock and Lauren, we left.

Chris had made reservations at my favorite restaurant, Mamma Maria. I absolutely loved their food, and with a very big city full of Italian restaurants, their food could not be beat. When we arrived, and entered the restaurant, they immediately sat us down at our designated table. 

Our table was really close to the door, and I saw everyone that came in or went out of the restaurant. A few minutes after they had served Chris and I's food, I noticed someone come into the restaurant that I had no desire to see at all.
