Natalie's P.O.V

October 25th, 2015

Today is a day of planning, for me it is anyway. Percy and Elias will officially be a year old tomorrow, and I have my work cut out for me. Thankfully, Chris is visiting some children down at Christopher's Haven, and the boys are with Hannah. That means that I have most likely the whole day to buy decorations, and begin to decorate the house for the party tomorrow.

I quickly get ready, and make my way to the garage. I start the Range Rover, and back out. I drive down the interstate for around fifteen minutes, until I'm finally in downtown Boston. I drive through the not so crowded streets, and pull into the Party City parking lot. I quickly pull the keys out of the car, and get out briskly trying to avoid any unwanted attention. I mean, ever since I had appeared with Chris on the Tonight Show the paparazzi were always showing up somewhere, and taking awkward photos of me.

Once inside the safety of the store, I immediately head for the aisle marked with Disney characters and shows. I skim through the aisle, and pick up the plates, napkins, streamers, banners, and random things for the Mickey Mouse themed party. I skip a couple of aisles, and pick up a gift bags, and then make my way to the register at the front of the store.

When I have successfully paid for the party materials, I made my way out into the crisp October air. I clicked the unlock button on my key, and climbed into the car, turning on the heat. I backed out of my parking space, and started the short journey to Hannah's apartment to pick the boys up.

I arrive at Hannah's apartment within minutes, and park my car on the street, putting a few quarters into the meter on the curb. At the door of her apartment, I buzz myself inside, and begin the short trip up the stairs to her door. When I knock, she yells like usual, and swings the door open seconds later.

Hannah greets, "You're here already, I was hoping I could keep them longer."

"Sorry, Han," I start, with a small smile, "I have to get them home and feed them, and then start decorating for the party tomorrow." I add.

I begin helping Hannah put both Percy and Elias into their wool coats, and she helps lug them down the stairs and out onto the street. I unlock the doors once again, and we put the boys into their car seats.

I thank her once again for watching the boys, and then get back into the car and buckle my seat belt. I get back on the road towards Brookline. The drive was quick, and the boys and I were soon pulling into the garage.

Surprisingly, Chris was already back and he met me in the garage and collected the boys from their car seats. I grabbed the Party City bags from the trunk, and made my way inside the house. When I reached the kitchen, I put the bags down on the table, and grabbed Elias from Chris, who seemed to be struggling with both of the boys in his arms. Once Chris and I had taken the thick wool coats off of them, we put both of them into their high chairs and began to feed them their baby food dinner.

Both of the boys finished their food within 20 minutes, and with the help of Chris we took them upstairs, changed their diapers, put them in their pajamas, and laid them down in their separate cribs. I trailed after Chris as we walked back downstairs, where we stopped to unbag the decorations for the party. Chris smiled as he began to talk about his experience with the children at Christopher's Haven, "Nat, I finally realized what it's like to have faith," He started, "Those kids down there have serious illnesses, but they still keep the faith that they're going to get better, and every time I visit them I feel so happy to be with them." Chris finished, a triumphant smile upon his face.

"I'm glad you and the children enjoyed each other's company." I replied, smiling at Chris and then giving him a quick kiss on the lips.

"Once you have Ellie, you should get Brock and Lauren to watch the kids, and we'll visit them together?" Chris said more as a question.

"Of course, I would love to!" I answered, with a huge hopeful smile upon my face.

"Great, I'll inform them that we can visit again soon." Chris replied with the same large smile he had had earlier.

I smiled, and then we began to decorate the family and dinning rooms for the party. The streamers were our first task, I bought three types of streamers. I bought a role of white, black, and red with were all Mickey Mouse colors. When we had finished hanging all the streamers, Chris and I begun to hang all the other decorations.

Soon enough we got to the plates, cups, and napkins. At the dinning room table, we placed a Mickey Mouse plate, napkin, and cup in a neat set up for each kid. After all the places were set, Chris and I retired to our bedroom.

Before I could change into my pajamas, I quickly placed the numerous toys and clothes that I had bought the boys for their birthday, in the bags I had just bought at Party City, and then took them downstairs on the gift table in the family room.

Once I felt content with all the party plans, I made my way back upstairs and into the bedroom. I quickly changed into my pajamas, and brushed my teeth. Finally, this tiring day would be over, who knew party planning could be so hectic?

Chris and I said our quick good nights and I love you's, then he clicked off the lamp on the beside table, and turned the T.V off, and we were both down for the count.
