Natalie's P.O.V

Within an hour and fifteen minutes we had landed at JFK International airport in New York City. After exiting the plane and collecting our luggage from the baggage claim, Chris and I were greeted by a chauffeur. The chauffeur led us to a sleek black sedan, and opened the doors for us, allowing us to enter the nice car.

Once we were all inside, the driver took us to the Four Seasons hotel. When we arrived, the chauffeur grabbed our luggage out of the trunk of the sedan, and led us to the door, where a bellhop took our luggage up to our room, whilst Chris and I checked in.

I skimmed the beautiful lobby with my eyes, as Chris filled out all the check- in papers. The lobby was adorned with chandeliers, amazing artwork, and the most beautiful decorative furniture, I was speechless just by taking a look at it. Sure, Chris and I had stayed at the Ritz- Carlton and other nice hotels, but this hotel left me stunned.

I was brought out of my deep reverie, when Chris gently grabbed my hand, and led me towards the lobby elevator. Once inside the elevator, Chris begun to speak, "Jimmy took care of all the expenses, and since it was such a short notice he made arrangements for us to stay in the Ty Warner Penthouse." Chris said, as the elevator began to rise from the lobby, taking us to our destination.

"Penthouse?" I stated more as a question, "Why would we need a penthouse, there are only two of us?" I added.

"I guess, he just thought it would be the nice thing to do." Chris replied with a smile.

The elevator ride soon came to a close, and Chris and I exited. We walked down the short corridor and soon arrived at the door to our penthouse. Chris quickly slid the key card inside, and I followed after him as he entered the large living quarters. As we walked around the nice penthouse, we were absolutely astonished by how beautiful this place actually was, it was more beautiful than our house, which we had decorated by a professional interior designer.

Although, I was 5 months pregnant and sex was the last thing on my mind, the bedroom was a masterpiece, and it had the most amazing view of the New York City skyline I had ever laid eyes on.

Chris and I soon settled into the room, and since it was late we both changed into our pajamas. After finishing out nightly routines, we laid down in the feather-like king sized bed, and soon we both drifted off to sleep.

The Next Day

I awoke to the sound of my phone incessantly ringing on the beside table, I first thought I would ignore it, but when I saw that it was Layne, I answered it, "Hello?" I stated more as a question.

"Nat, there's been a family emergency, and we can't take care of Elias and Percy for the rest of your trip," He started, "Do you know anyone who I could take them to?" Layne then asked, worry evident in his voice.

"Hold on, can I call you back in a few minutes?" I asked.
