Natalie's P.O.V

The boys and I are about to drop Chris off at the airport, and then we will be driving to Hyannis Port to spend some time with Grandma Ethel, whilst Chris is in California. I knew that it would be hard watching the boys, and I would miss Chris deeply, but I had to get over it, I didn't want the twins on a long public plane ride. We arrived at the airport, and Chris quickly got out of the Range Rover, making his way to the trunk of the car to get his suitcase out. I got out and followed him to the back of the SUV, "I'll miss you." I said as I leaned against the back of the car.

"I'll miss you too," Chris replied and gave me a sweet smile, "I just wish you could've came with me." He added, this time with a small frown.

"I wish I could've too." I replied, and Chris engulfed me in a tight hug.

"I love you." He stated as he pulled away from the hug, looking deeply into my eyes.

"I love you too." I replied, whilst closing the distance between us and kissing him gently on the lips.

When we had said our goodbyes, he made his way to both sides of the vehicle, planting small kisses on Elias's and Percy's foreheads. I waved at Chris as he made his way inside the airport terminal, once he was out of sight, I got into the Range Rover and drove towards the interstate.

An hour and a half later, I pulled up to the Kennedy Compound and parked in my grandmother's driveway. I got out of the car, and went to the backseat, I unlatched both of the car seats, and carried them up to the front door of the house. I knocked, and a few seconds later Claire answered the door with a smile, "Come on in!" She said enthusiastically.

I entered the house and made my way towards the family room, where my Grandmother was reading the Boston Globe. I greeted her with a smile, as I sat the boys down on the couch, "Hi Grandma, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm great, Natty." She replied with a bright smile on her face, "How are you?" She added.

"As good as I can get." I answered.

"That's great, when would you like to leave for Martha's Vineyard?" She asked with a questioning glance.

"Anytime, the boys and I are ready." I answered with a smile.

"Alright, I'll arrange for a helicopter and we'll be on our way." Grandma replied, and picked up the phone that was laying on the coffee table.

As she called for the helicopter, I made my way outside to get our bags, when I had successfully grabbed all three, I made my way back into the house, and into the family room. I sat down in between the boys' car seats, and awaited further instruction.

We waited no longer than an hour, and the helicopter had landed on the helicopter pad in the backyard. Claire along with the rest of the staff grabbed our bags, and we waited for our cue. When the pilot came to get us, I grabbed the boys car seats and made my way outside with my grandmother. The pilots helped me safely secure the boys in the seats, and put ear muffs on their ears to drown out the deafening sound of the helicopter. Once we were finished with getting the boys ready to go, my grandmother and I both got in, and they secured us, then put on our ear muffs. The helicopter slowly but surely took off, and we started the 45 minute flight.
