Chapter Eleven: Polyjuice Potion Success

LUNA'S POV

"Add three measures of Fluxweed" Draco took the fluxweed and placed it in the cauldron.

"Add four bundles of knotgrass and then stir four times clockwise"

"Okay done"

"Next let it sit to brew for 80 minutes" Draco looked at me and then at the cauldron before turning the cauldron down a bit; letting it sit.

"Now what?" I hummed in response but shrugged,

"Want to sit by the fireplace and go over the rest of the ingredients?" Draco groaned and fell onto his bed; I giggled and walked over while standing above him.

"Come on Draco we're almost done"

"But can't we take a break?" I shook my head and grabbed all the textbooks we needed,

"Sorry, this is what happens when you're stuck with a Ravenclaw" I giggled as he groaned but got up. But, before we left I saw a Slytherin shove the door open; I gasped at the force which made the cauldron tip over; I whipped my wand out and stopped it from spilling and carefully placed the cauldron back onto the burner; that was close.

"Nott! Be careful we're doing a potion and you almost just ruined it!" the boy who Draco just called Nott ignored him and looked right at me.

"Hello, I don't think Malfoy's introduced us; rude I must say. I'm Theodore Nott; but you can call me Theo" he winked and I looked at Draco with a 'really?' stare.

"I'm Luna" I replied; he nodded.

"I know who you are" I slowly nodded; he was kind of weird.

"Yes well Luna and I were planning on leaving so you'll have to talk another time" Draco grabbed my hand and I felt warmth shoot up my arm; I ignored it once I looked at Nott again. He was staring at me weird; what's with all these weird boys at our school?

Draco and I walked downstairs and into the hall,

"Draco are you okay?" he sighs,

"Nott just annoys me; I wouldn't try and be friends with him; he's known for getting into every girls pants" I raised a brow at him,

"So you think that I won't be able to resist him?" his eyes widened and he quickly started shaking his head.

"No of course not! I-" I laughed,

"It's fine Draco I was just joking" he rolls his eyes but chuckles. And that's when I noticed that we were still holding hands.

"Um Draco you can let go now" he looks down and lets go of my hand; blushing a bit he put his hand back to his side.

"Sorry" he mumbled,

"How are you feeling by the way?" I turned my head sideways,

"What do you mean?"

"About what happened yesterday" images of Steven flashed through my mind and I shuttered,

"I never realized how violent he could be but I am fine; I had you, Cho and Harry defending me" we made it to the Great Hall and my tummy rumbled,

"Hungry?" Draco asked amused; I gripped my stomach and nodded.

"Yeah I could use some food; I haven't eaten lunch yet" we opened the doors and I noticed that Cho wasn't where she was usually seated. She was at the Gryfindor table, sitting next to Harry who were hand in hand. I smiled and waved at her and she returned it before going back to the conversation she was having with Harry and Hermione.
