Chapter Eight: Capturing Potter

DRACO'S POV

I'm not sure how long I've been out here for; but the snow is all gone so I'm guessing a while. When I saw Luna like that at the Manor I almost lost it; how did it become like this?

I'm only hoping that Luna is still there; I couldn't risk going back; I didn't even realize that he kept her in his room!

The thought of that made my blood boil; he wouldn't do anything else would he?

Of course he wouldn't; he thinks she's a blood traitor so he wouldn't want anything to do with her.

"What am I going to do?" I mumbled to myself; I was somewhere on the outskirts of London. I had heard from a couple of wizards that Potter had been seen around here with Granger and Weasley. I had gotten here a couple of hours ago; it was around noon and I had been searching since I got here.

"Now what are the chances of me bumping into Potter?" right as I said that I saw three people in the distance appear out of nowhere. Looking closer I saw bushy hair, black messy hair and flaming red hair; yup that was them.

I headed over to them; trying not to scare them. When they turned and saw me their eyes widened and they all took their wands out and pointed them at me.

"Potter, Granger, Weasley" I said; nodding to each of them. I didn't take my wand out because I wanted to show then that I just wanted to talk; but I guess they didn't get the memo.

"Malfoy; what are you doing here?" Granger asked,

"Me? Actually I've been looking for you Potter" my eyes trained on scarhead and he narrowed his eyes at me.

"Why Malfoy? Do you have to sell me out to Voldemort? Well sorry but I don't really care to be a part of that" I rolled my eyes; this wasn't going anywhere.

"No-"

"-Ah Draco it seems you've found them" I looked to my left and saw a couple of snatchers. They stepped forward and surrounded them; forming a half circle. I saw Potter share a look with his friends before they took off; the snatchers looked at each other before the leader spoke up.

"Well what are you waiting for? Get them!" they all ran off while I followed; this wasn't how I wanted to do this. I needed their help to get Luna out of the Manor; now they're going to be captured before I can even talk to them.

Instead of following them down the hill I cut into a different pathway that took you deeper into the woods; maybe I'll be able to find one of them while they're hiding and talk to them before they get caught.

I walked in between bushes and around trees before I came to a small clearing where I saw the three of them hiding behind a shrub.

"Do you think they'll be able to find us?"

"I don't know; we should aparate before we find out" Granger and Weasey nodded but I stepped up to them before they could.

"Wait Potter" once again their wands were aimed at me,

"I'm here to talk Potter relax" he raised his brow at me and kept his wand up; I guess I could understand why he didn't believe me.

"Look this is just a coincidence; I promise I had no idea that those guys were there" Granger rolled her eyes but I ignored it; I couldn't ruin my chances with my big mouth; Luna needed me.
