LUNA'S POV
Today was the day that Cho was going to Hogsmeade with Harry; it also happened to be Valentine's day; very smooth. I was going to Hogsmeade as well but I wanted to help Cho get ready first.
"Okay Cho get in the shower and I'll grab everything you need" she nodded and grabbed a towel; locking the bathroom door behind her. I went to her closet and pulled this out:
it was simple but perfect for a date like this. I grabbed my wand and a few different types of makeup products; Mascara, pink lipstick and some blush; though she wont need much because of how cold it is.
I heard the tap being shut off and I waited patiently for her to come out. While she was drying off I also chose a simple outfit for myself:
it was also simple and wasn't something I was used too but I was beginning to like Cho's clothes more and more; I still rocked it with my radish earrings and my Butterbeer cork necklace. I left my hair the way it was and only put on mascara and lip gloss; I always preferred it over lipstick. Lipstick just made my lips dry so I wasn't really a fan.
Cho came out in just a towel and I immediately threw her clothes at her; she quickly changed and took a seat in front of the mirror. We always changed in front of each other; there just wasn't enough time for each person to have the bathroom to themselves in the morning so we're used to each other now. I grabbed my wand and twirled it around her head; her hair was now in soft curls that cascaded down her back. But, with the harsh winds outside I didn't want this hair to ruin her makeup. I could've done a protective charm but I thought the outfit would've looked nice anyway with her hair up. I grabbed one of my white scrunchies and tied her hair up in a high ponytail; luckily Cho has long hair so even with her hair up it still reached her lower back.
Next I worked on her lashes; they were naturally long so two coats were enough to bring out her caramel brown eyes. I grabbed a rosy pink lipstick and applied it; it was going to compliment the blush nicely. Lastly I applied the blush; not too much but enough that you could see it. I stepped back and smiled; letting her look in the mirror. She gasped and lightly touched her cheeks as she turned her face from left to right.
"Like it?" she looked at me and smiled; giving me a hug.
"I love it Luna, you should do my face all the time!" I smiled, I'm glad she liked it. I looked at the time; 7:00. My eyes widened and I grabbed Cho by her hand,
"Come on if we want breakfast we have to go" she looked at the time and nodded; following me downstairs.
"Look who looks all nice and dressed up; where are you going Chang?" we looked over at Steven and rolled our eyes; he was the one Ravenclaw who we thought should've been sorted somewhere else. He wasn't very intelligent, barely passed any courses and liked to bully first years. He didn't seem to have any traits that a usual Ravenclaw has so I'm not quite sure what the hat was thinking. I remember coming to my first year and having to sit next to him; Cho on my other side. Ever since that day he hasn't left us alone; especially me.
"I don't think that's any of your business Wood" yeah that's another thing; he's also Oliver's younger brother. I remember being introduced to Oliver when I started to get to know Harry; and even Oliver doesn't like his brother; we were told that he's the black sheep of the family.
He scoffed and looked towards me; smirking in my direction.
"And you look even better Luna" I rolled my eyes,
"Yes well we have to grab Breakfast; we don't want to be late" I grabbed Cho's arm and we stormed out of the common room and raced around the corner just in case he tried to follow us.
