A/N:
Sorry guys for being a bit late! I got a cold over the weekend and I wasn't even going to update but I feel much better now, so I thought I might as well. Anyways, here's chapter seven of Unlikely Savior! Enjoy!

Several nights after Phil had come over, Dan laid across his bed lazily. Music blared through his ears as he hummed along, majorly out of tune. He’d finished all of his homework and all that was left was to get started on that project. But, obviously due to the fact that Phil wasn’t around, that was rather impossible. It wasn’t like he’d even start the project with Phil being there.
If Dan had to be honest, he was completely and utterly bored. It was a Friday night and while all of his other school mates were probably out at some party, here he was, lying alone on his bed and listening to music. If only his parents weren’t so overprotective, he’d be able to go out every weekend with PJ.
Once the topic of parties and Friday night activities came to his head, Dan’s mind began to wander to Phil. He wondered what he was up to at the moment. He must’ve been at some amazing party, sucking face with some girl. Dan could only imagine the type of girls Phil got, all of them probably swooning over his relaxed personality.
As Dan thought more about it, he couldn’t help but feel that nagging feeling at the pit of his stomach again. It happened every time Dan thought about Phil, which was a lot, and it was getting quite annoying. He couldn’t place his finger on what it was. So, instead of trying to figure it out, he pushed it to the back of his mind and ignored it.
Dan sat up, pulling his earplugs out of his ear. He sat for a minute in the silence before groaning and flopping back down. He was just about to put the earplugs back into his ears before he heard a shout come from outside his window. He stayed still and listened carefully for the shout once again.
The shout came again and Dan hopped to his feet, guiding his way to his window. He pulled up the shades and pushed opened the glass shield, leaning slightly over. “Who’s there?” he called, feeling self-conscious about what he was doing, knowing he’d look rather stupid if there was nobody there and he was just shouting into darkness.
“Phil,” he heard the voice call and let out a sigh of relief. “What are you doing here?” Dan lowered his voice, knowing it was late, “What time is it?” He felt a slight burst of wind hit his face as goose bumps ran up his arm. “It’s ten past midnight,” Phil announced and Dan shook his head. “What are you-”
“Will you just come down here?” Phil interrupted. Dan groaned before nodding and closing his window. He quickly pulled on the jumper he was wearing earlier and dashed down the stairs, making sure he was quiet enough not to wake his parents.
Once outside he moved slowly before feeling a hand on his shoulder, causing him to jump a bit. “Why so jumpy?” Phil laughed as Dan shrugged his hand off. “What are you doing here so late?” Dan whispered, not wanting to disrupt anyone around the neighborhood.
“There’s going to be a lunar eclipse in about half an hour and I just wanted you to go with me,” Phil mumbled and Dan raised his eyebrow. “Why me?” Dan asked, gesturing towards his eyes. Phil shook his head before checking his watch once again. “Well, I’m not really at the level of closeness with anyone besides you where they wouldn’t be pissed off if I came shouting at their window at midnight,” Phil shrugged and Dan crossed his arms.
“Who says I’m not pissed off?” Dan smirked and Phil rolled his eyes. “So, you want to go or not?” he asked once again. “I don’t know, my parents don’t want me going out this late and they’re already asl-”
