My first official date with Oli had been simple, yet thoughtful, and it showed me just how much he must have cared about me. We'd taken such a long, bumpy road to get to where we were today, but now that our feelings were out in the open, it was like I was free-falling. Oli had made me feel like nobody I'd ever dated before; like I was important, that he understood me and respected me, that he'd actually thought about what would make me happy... but also like he was my best friend. I wouldn't have wanted to spend my day with anyone else, and I couldn't really imagine not spending every day with him.
