Episode 2: How did he end it?

"Hello po!" Olivia said, greeting Brent and Anikka, ngumiti si Anikka, putting her phone inside her bag. "Our professor liked our idea po, sobrang thank you for agreeing to work it us," sabi ni Olivia, lumaki ang ngiti ni Anikka.

"I'm glad I can help, sana ganyan din kami dati," Anikka said, remembering her college life, sobrang hirap kasi nga hindi helpful yung mga tao and the curriculum back then was different as it is now. 

"Kumusta ratings?" Brent asked, smiling at Olivia, it was uploaded kasi sa youtube, and his old teammates and friends were bothering him sa group chat, even his new teammates sa PBA, inaasar din siya. 

"Maganda naman po, nag-trend rin po tayo and people started to ask questions na rin hehe," Olivia said, ngumiti si Brent, glad that he could help a graduating student.

After putting in the microphones and Brent checking himself sa salamin while Anikka was on her phone texting someone which annoyed the hell out of Brent, they decided to film.

Excess EXes, Episode 2: How did he end it?

"This is Anikka Perez," Anikka started, Brent smiled, looking at her until Anikka cleared her throat. 

"Brent Paraiso." Ngumiti si Anikka but it was not for Brent, it was for the camera. "Pick a card Niks," Brent said. His eyes went wide, he just called Anikka by her nickname, and hindi niya alam if okay lang yun kay Anikka.

"You pick naman B. I picked na last time eh" Anikka smiled, parang nabunutan ng tinik si Brent sa lalamunan when she called him by his nickname.

Brent picked a card.

"What did you call each other before?" Brent read the question and then showed the camera.

"Dami eh, minsan babe, minsan love, minsan baby," Brent said, using his fingers to list it out. 

 Ngumiti lamang si anikka. "Usually, pag nagpapabebe ako, I call him Isaac, pero pag normal naman na araw, minsan babe, or babu, baby rin pag trip ko magpacute, pangs pag inaasar ko siya," Anikka said laughing, naalala niya kasi na ayaw na ayaw ni Brent na tinatawag na pangs, magtatampo si brent kay Anikka pag pangs ang tawag niya sakanya.

Who was more in pain?  Ngumiti si anikka sa tanong ni olivia.

"Si Bruce siguro," Anikka joked, but Brent nodded.

"Yung outside sa relationship, siguro si Bruce tsaka sila Ricci," sagot ni Brent.

"Si Bruce kasi parang baby ko na eh, syempre, I saw him grow up diba, tapos we broke up, parang si Bruce yung hirap matanggap na nag break kami ng kuya niya" Anikka explained with a sad smiled. 

Brent nodded, "He was more mad at me nga, although kasalanan ko naman talaga." Anikka glanced at Brent before focusing on the camera. "Sila Ricci kasi, parang napamahal na rin siya sa TMT, so nung nagbreak kami awkward," habol ni Brent, Anikka nodded, drinking water from her mug.

What did your friends say when you broke up?

"Sayang daw," Brent and Anikka said, sabay pa sila kaya nagtawanan on set.

"Sayang daw because ang tagal na namin, sayang daw kasi lahat na raw na kay Brent na," Anikka said, may halong lungkot sa kanyang mga mata.

"Sayang daw kasi na kay Anikka na lahat ng dapat meron sa isang asawa, ang gago ko raw–wait pwede mag say ng bad words?" Brent asked, tumango naman si Olivia and raised her thumbs up. "Ayun, gago raw ako kasi I left Anikka when she didn't leave me at all kahit gaano ako ka-difficult as a person."

How did he end it? The question was for Anikka only, kasi si Brent nga yung nakipaghiwalay.

"After nung sa dugout, after niyang sabihin na ayaw na niya, okay pa kami after eh, nahimasmasan pa siya, but he really ended it nung paskuhan diba?" Anikka looked at Brent for assurance, tumango naman si Brent. "parang fifth paskuhan namin yun as boyfriend girlfriend tapos, dun nakipaghiwalay si Brent."

"Tahimik ka ata?" pansin ni Anikka kay Brent, ngumiti si Brent ng pilit.

"Tired lang," sabi ni Brent, drinking his milktea, tumango lang si Anikka, her grip on Brent tight. As if she knew that something bad was going to happen tonight. 

"Brent, ang ganda ng lights no?" Anikka said, trying to  start a conversation with Brent, pero tango  at iling lamang ang sagot ni Brent. "Next year, hindi na tayo nag-aaral dito," anikka said with a smile, but her heart was heavy. Alam niya na nagkakaproblema na sila, But yet here she was, trying to pretend that every thing is okay even if it wasn't. 

The fireworks started and Anikka closed her eyes to prevent the tears from falling. "The fireworks oh," turo ni Anikka kay Brent. He just nodded and watched the fireworks, he looked bored at hindi man lang siya naka-akbay kay Anikka, hindi katulad ng dati. 

"Niks," sambit ni Brent, nasa kotse sila, tapos na ang ikalimang paskuhan ng magkasintahan.

Nakangiti si Anikka ng humarap kay Brent, trying her best to pretend like she didn't know what he was going to say. 

"Niks, I'm so tired," sabi ni Brent, his head on the steering wheel.

"Do you want to go inside? Rest?" tanong ni Anikka, hoping that Brent was just physically tired.

Pero umiling si Brent.

"I'm tired of this," sabi ni Brent, nanlaki ang mga mata ni Anikka.

"Brent, are you breaking up with me?" Anikka asked, pain evident from her voice, nagagalit siya, but all the anger disappeared when she heard Brent sob. 

"I'm sorry Anikka," sambit ni Brent, his cheeks stained with tears. Anikka leaned and tried to wipe his tears but he flinched. 

"Masaya naman tayo, diba mahal mo ako, sabi mo aalis tayo ng UST ng magkasama?" Anikka asked, her voice breaking and tears started to fall. 

For the first time tonight, Brent looked at her in the eye, intently. 

"Pero sapat ba yung masaya lang tayo?"

"Hindi ko na kayang pumunta ng paskuhan ever since," Annika answered while biting her lip, not meeting Brent's eyes.
