"wag mo akong simulan anikka." Brent said, his grip on the steering wheel tight. Anikka rolled her eyes.

"edi wag natin pag usapan." Anikka sarcastically said.

"Bakit kasama mo si ricci?" Brent asked again, gritting his teeth. Namumula na siya sa galit but anikka doesn't care.

"Kumain kami sa labas, masama?" Brent clenched his fist, he opted to stop the car, malapit na sila sa condo ni brent.

"Masama because he has feelings for you and you didn't even tell me." Nanlaki ang mata ni anikka and she massaged her temples, trying her best to understand brent.

"I did a good job sa work, he congratuled me by taking me out to eat lunch." Anikka said, her voice calm. Alam ni anikka na dapat isa sakanila ang kalmado, or else walang papatunguhan to.

"Anikka, of all people, bakit si ricci pa?"
Brent asked, his gaze in front.

"Magkaibigan kami, what's wrong with that?"

"He loves you" brent said, as if may point siya.

"But do I love him back?"

Brent ran his hand through his hair, he's been stressed lately, with his basketball, his businesses, anikka, and now bets.

"Brent, is this still worth it?" Anikka asked, after a moment of silence, anikka bit her nails.

"pagod ka na ba agad?" Brent asked, smilinh sadly.

"hindi na kita maramdaman." anikka said, closing her eyes, brent looked at her.

"huh? Paanong hindi mo maramdaman? Explain mo naman kung bakit pagod ka na sa atin anikka?" Brent asked, halatang pinipigil niya ang galit, anikka inhaled.

"hindi ko alam kung ako lang yun, but I feel like you are prioritizing bets over me." Anikka started, nanlaki ang mata ni brent,

"She's pregnant." Brent said, anikka smiled sarcastically.

"Pero hindi pa naman sure na ikaw yung tatay diba, it's either you or ricci, pero bakit parang gusto mo na ikaw? Brent, nandito ako oh, girlfriend mo ako." Anikka said, pointing to herself, napanganga si brent. "Sabi mo bakit si ricci kasama ko? Kasi ricci makes time for me, ikaw una kong tinext, I asked you if you were free today, sabi mo hindi. So ricci made time for me, ang laki nung achievement ko today brent."

"I-I didn't know you felt this way." Brent said, biting his lip. Anikka wiped her tears,

"kasi busy ka kay bets brent." Anikka didn't want to say this, hindi siya selfish, but she had enough. "Umaalis ka ng madaling araw to buy what she wants, okay lang naman yun, but you go home may araw na, anong ginagawa niyo? nag-uusap? Brent naman. Hindi pa naman sure na ikaw yung tatay eh, hindi pa naman tayo sure, may chance pa naman na baka si ricci diba. Pero bakit inaako mo na?"

"she needs me." Mahinang tugon si brent, anika laughed.

"she clearly stated na she was not sure if ikaw tatay or si ricci, hinihintay lang natin until pwede na magpa-paternity test. Why the fuck does she need you? Sex ba kailangan niya? Hindi ka ba satisfied sa akin?" Anikka asked, brent seemed angry at her statement.

"It's not about sex anikka, grow up!" tumaas na ang boses ni brent, anikka clenched her fist.

"TANGINA PALA, SHE NEEDS YOU FOR WHAT BRENT?!" hindi napigilan ni anikka ang sumigaw. Hindi nakasagot si brent, bumilis ang paghinga ni anikka.

"Brent, ako naman, ako naman piliin mo." anikka started, her voice soft, she wiped her tears. "Gusto kita ipagdamot brent, ngayon lang, parang awa mo na, ako naman ngayon brent." anikka pleaded, not meeting brent's gaze.

"hindi naman kita iiwanan anikka." Brent assured, anikka smiled sadly.

"but why do I feel like naiwan na ako? bakit ang hirap mo na abutin? bakit parang ang layo layo mo na?"
