Episode 5: Cancelled.

"bakit nagliligpit kayo?" brent asked, nakakunot ang noo niya, lumingon si olivia.

"nagtext po ako sainyo ah?" olivia said, but lalong kumunot ang noo ni brent. "may sakit po kasi si ate anikka so cancel po muna, sorry po." olivia said, showing brent the text message anikka sent.

Hi olivia! I'm sorry may sakit ako ngayon, can we please resched? Hindi kasi talaga ako makatayo eh, i'm really sorry.

"ah" brent said looking at olivia who was putting her phone inside her back pocket.

"sige mauna na ako." brent said, walang kagana-gana ang boses niya, tumango lang si olivia.

"ingat po, sorry sa abala." sabi ni olivia, ngumiti si brent kasi hindi naman kasalanan ni olivia na hindi nagbabasa si brent ng phone.

Brent cursed himself as he went inside his car, bibili siya ng pagkain tapos pupunta siya kay anikka. It's the least he can do.

He bought all the necessary things he needed for anikka, dati nga sa kotse ni brent merong Sick Anikka Care Package, nandon lahat ng kailangan ni anikka when she's sick.

Anikka was quiet when she's sick, wala kang maririnig sakanya, except sa gusto niya ng chickenjoy at macaroni soup. Tsaka mo lang malalaman na malala yung sakit ni anikka when she can't eat anymore.

"okay na siguro 'to" brent said to himself as he carried the supplies and foods anikka needs.

"gago ka kasi brent." he mumbled to himself, why did he let stupidity (horniness) ruin whatever the thing that they were starting again.

Hindi naman niya alam na pupunta si anikka sa condo niya that day.

He knocked after pressing the doorbell two times. Naiinis siya because he didn't have the code and papatayuin niya pa si anikka kahit may sakit ito.

"oh brent?" the person who opened the door was the one he least expected, he was shirtless and rubbing his eye.

"para kay aika?" he asked, brent nodded and extended his arm to just give it to him. Now he knew what anikka felt.

"pasok na na bro, bigay mo yan kay aika." his morning voice bothered brent the most.

"aiks, nandito si brent, kain na!" brent heard him say, sobrang pinipigilan ni brent ang sarili niyang magtanong, he expected juan, kung si juan sana yung nandito okay lang kay brent eh.

His heart broke when he saw them walking out of anikka's room, nakabalot so anikka ng comforter, under the comforter was his warmer, may apelyido pa sa likod. But his hands were on her waist and nakasandal pa si anikka sa balikat niya.

"hi brent" anikka said, her voice just above a whisper. Brent smiled through the pain.

"dala mo lahat?" anikka asked, her voice was scratchy.

"dami kasi ininom kagabi ni aika kay ayan, nagpabasa pa ng ulan." ricci said, putting the food brent brought sa plates.

"magkasama kayo kagabi?" brent asked nobody in particulat, anikka nodded.

"mamaya" ricci mouthed. Tumango si brent, he really needs an explanation on why his best friend, Ricci Rivero was shirtless in his ex-girlfriends condo unit.

They ate in silence, si ricci lang halos ang dumadaldal, but si ricci lang rin ang nag-aasikaso kay anikka, wiping her mouth and even holding her head in place kapag sobrang pagod na siya, giving her water.

"tapos ka na?" ricci asked anikka, tumango si anikka,

"thank you brent." anikka said, tumango si brent, not in the mood.

"so bakit ka andito?" brent asked ricci pagkasara niya ng pinto, ngumiti si ricci, fixing the table and preparing to wash the dishes.

"kasi gago ka talaga brent, napaka gago mo" ricci started,

"you make her feel like you want her back, tapos makikita ka niyang ganon?" ricci said, his smile was sarcastic.

"is this about bets?" brent asked, sinamaan ni ricci ng tingin si brent.

"you had sex with her?" tanong ni brent, umiling si ricci,

"why would I do that? She loves you, hindi siya makikipagsex sa akin." ricci answered, his focus was on the plates he was washing.

"so if hindi niya ako mahal makikipagsex ka sakanya?" brent asked ricci, lumingon si ricci kay brent.

"liligawan ko muna siya, at ipapakilala ko sa mga magulang ko." ricci said, narrowing his eyes at brent.

"kung nakita mo siya umiyak kagabi, sinasabi ko sayo. Gago ka kasi brent, pinapaasa mo si aika."

"mahal ko naman siya" brent said, going near ricci

"then why did you fuck bets?"

"I didn't know na pupunta siya okay? Hindi ko gusto na makita ni anikka yun." brent answered like it made sense, ricci laughed,

"kung mahal mo si anikka hindi ka makikipagsex kay bets whether she sees it or not." sagot ni ricci, wiping his hands, he looked at brent.

"paulit ulit tayo ah, she breaks my heart and you're breaking hers, hanggang kailan tayo ganito brent?"
