Episode 4: Would you change anything?

“habaan mo naman shorts mo paraiso.” anikka laughed, brent snorted and dug deeper in his closet to find another set of shorts.

“pinakamahaba na 'to!” brent said, anikka furrowed her eyebrows.

“If I wore that papayag ka ba?” she asked brent, she was fixing her eyebrows, anikka smiled at the thought that she still has some clothes in brent's condo unit.

“no, ibang usapan kasi yon.” brent grumbled, anikka rolled her eyes.

“i'll change if you change.” suggestion ni brent, kumunot nanaman ang noo ni anikka.

Why does she have to change?

“your top is too revealing.” sabi ni brent, anikka's jaws dropped.

“pano naging revealing top ko?” she asked looking at the mirror, it was a camisole, hindi naman revealing abg neckline.

“basta! Wear a jacket.” sabi ni brent, anikka rolled her eyes and dumiretso sa closet ni brent to look for a decent jacket.

“alam mo para kang tanga.” brent heard anikka say while she was holding onto her fries.

“bakit? Jacket lang pinadagdag ko, ikaw from shorts naging joggers.” brent said annoyed, but deep inside he was enjoying this, he was enjoying that anikka had a say in his life.

“kasi wala namang mali sa suot ko, I made you change kasi ang iksi ng shorts mo tapos bukaka ka pa ng bukaka” anikka said, brent smiled.

He missed this, he missed driving with anikka, while anikka keeps on talking and talking.

“tapos mamaya habang nagfifilm tayo nakabukaka ka umupo, tapos ano? Baka may makita yung mga fans mo, wag ka na tumulad kay ricci, pati yung weird way ng pagsusuot niya ng cap ginagaya mo, alam mo yun yung hindi nakasagad sa ulo, bakit diba? Ano ba purpose ng cap? Hindi naman mahaba buhok mo, bat may space yung cap tsaka yung hair?” anikka babbled, brent smiled.

“luh munggo ka sis?” anikka asked, her eyebrow raised.

“hindi, tao ako.” brent teased.

“di mo naman alam yung munggo eh” anikka stuck her tongue out, tumingin si brent sakanya nung naka red yung light.

“ano yung munggo?”

“mung gago hahaha” brent smiled at the sight of anikka laughing while clutching her stomach.

“ganda ko 'no?” anikka said, at sinubuan niya rin ng fries si brent. Tumango na lamang si brent at nagfocus sa daan.

After a while, there was silence, sumasagot ng emails si anikka regarding work, but the beat of brent's heart was deafening. The beat of his heart is only for Anikka.

“wow sabay sila dumating” anikka heard one of the younger kids say, ngumiti lamang siya.

“ano raw?” sabi ni brent removing his glasses.

“cute raw ako.” sabi ni Anikka, brent smiled, totoo naman kasi eh.

Excess EXes, Episode 4: Would you change anything?

“ano to? In general o nung break up?” brent asked looking at olivia,

Nung break up po, like yung way po nung pakikipagbreak niyo or yung relationship niyo in general.

Brent nodded as he got the clarity he needed from Olivia, he cleared his throat.

“sana tinago ko muna siya ng konti.” brent said, which made anikka's breath hitch. “siguro kasi, if  less people who knew about us baka kami pa rin hanggang ngayon. Sana itinago ko siya ng mas matagal, para walang ibang opinion regarding our relationship, sana samin muna”

Nakangiti si anikka habang nakatingin kay brent, she knew that he has her best interest in his heart, always.

“dami kasing comments, don't get me wrong ha, I love my fans, but not all of them wants me to be happy, hindi lahat sila naiintindihan na mahal ko si anikka. You know when you're doing something, a few tips can help you diba, pero when a lot of people says a lot of things maguguluhan ka diba? Gusto kong baguhin yung mga nakaka-alam sa amin, kasi sa tingin ko if we hid our relationship before hanggang ngayon kami pa eh”

Tumingin si olivia kay anikka.

“I wouldn't change a thing.” anikka said, looking straight into the camera kahit alam niyang nakatitig si brent sakanya.

“sa loob ng limang taon, naaoutweigh ng happiness yung pain, so bakit ko babaguhin diba? Being with brent made me a better person, a better lover, a better child to my parents, a better student, a better friend. Being with brent made me a whole lot different but in a better way naman. Why would I want to change a thing?” anikka said, nakangiti siya sa camera while she was saying those words.

“I do want to change the way he broke up with me though.” napayuko si brent, but anikka was still smiling “sana hindi paskuhan kasi grabe ang ganda eh, tapos hindi ako makapunta, tama ba yon?” she joked, brent inhaled deeply, his gaze was focused on anikka like she was the only person in the room. 

“edi pupunta tayo this year, babaguhin natin yung masamang memory mo”
