We pull up and the gates shut behind the car, knowing how happy Rick and Beth will be, I don't waste time getting out of the car.
I slide out of the seat and set foot back onto the prison grounds, Rick runs down the meet us.
"Well?" He looks at me as I pull my bag out of the car. "We got plenty." I assure him with a smile, in zipping my bag to show him. He looks inside, "Oh thank god, I feel so much better." He thanks me and pats my head, I run up to the building to give the formula to Beth.
"Beth!" I call out, running through the halls. "Ellie? I'm here!" I spot her at the end of a hall way, sitting on the end of a stair case holding Judith, next to Hershel.
"I got you something." I stop in front of her and unzip my bag again, revealing the 4 tins of formula for Judith.
Her face lights up and she hands Judith to her dad so she can stand up.
"Oh my god! You got so much!" She wraps her arms around me, over joyed.
I put mine around her too, "Thankyou." She says quietly.
I smile in her shoulder. She just the cutest.
I haven't had a hug in a long time, last time was months ago from Luke. We thought he was gonna die. I found him stuck in a shop, pinned to the ground by like 5 infected ready to tear him apart, but I got in there in time to save him. He hugged me so tight that day, he had never been so grateful for something.
That was a long time ago, so it feels nice getting another hug.
"I'm glad you're happy." We pull away from each other, still smiling.
She grabs Judith again and rushes off with Hershel, who's holding all the tins.
There was nothing else to do so I decide to head back to my cell and read some comics until the sun went down.
I'm given canned beans for dinner, then I go to bed peacefully.

I hear a faint screech, what the fuck was that?
I'm sill in bed, half asleep with my eyes still shut, so I'm probably dreaming.
I ignore is and relax. Then I hear it again.
Okay, I'm not dreaming. My eyes fling open, I knew what it was. There's a clicker roaming our grounds, that's all it could be.
