"Mmm!" I attempted to pry off the dirty hand, but was unfortunately as weak as water. "Mmm!" Questions invaded my brain.

Who was this guy? What was he doing in the ladies' locker room? And what did he want with me?

I felt a lump in my throat and swallowed hard. Was...was he here to kidnap me? Or...or...

As if he could read my frightening thoughts, the mysterious boy lowered his face to mine and whispered in my ear. In all honesty, his voice was attractive. You could say that it calmed me right down.

"Shush. You need to be quiet."

I desired to ask him why, but how could I?

"Please. Do not be alarmed. I know that we are strangers towards each other, however...I want to help you."

Help me? I can take a shower by myself, thank you very much!

"I will uncover your mouth if you promise to not scream. I will not harm you. I would never harm a soul."

Even though that I should not have, I decided to trust his word and nodded my head. He slowly removed his hand from my mouth, and I spun around and examined him.

Oh my gosh. As soon as I locked eyes with the boy, I quietly asked myself if I was in the heavens. And yes, ladies. You will be jealous of me.

The boy...was hot. Like, hotter than any guy who has lived or is living. He was covered in all black. The only part of him that was not black was his pale skin. Everything else - his short hair, short-sleeved shirt, jacket, ripped pants, and spiky boots - was.

Considering the descriptions, you might assume that this boy was a bad boy. You would be correct, however, he was the whole package. What I mean is that he was cool, smart, and caring.

I stared at him and smiled. He was dreamy, and dare I say it. I was in love with him!

Yeah, yeah. It is unhealthy to be in love with a person whom you just met. You have to get to know him or her. Besides, he had not yet explained why he was in the girls' locker room.

Realizing this, I shook my head to snap out of it and glared at him. Like that my eyes were burning into his soul.

The boy was the same height as me and smiled a little. "Allow me to introduce myself."

"Alright. I am allowing you," I said.

"What?"

I stayed silent for a moment. "...forget it."

He chuckled. "Such a beautiful voice."

I wanted to slap him, but held it together. "Hey. Keep the flirting to yourself. How stupid do you think that I am?"

"What makes you say that? I do not think that you are stupid at all."

"Are you just saying that in order for me to not attack you?"

"No. I am saying that because it is the right thing to do. And I really like your voice."

I could feel my cheeks getting hot. It was hard for me to deny that I had a thing for him.

Did he notice? Did he feel the same about me?

The boy held out his hand. "Let me help you out of the shower. A gentleman's job is to charm a lady. My name is Darius by the way. It means to have good in you."

I waited for Darius to mention his last name, but he never did. I took his hand and scrambled back into the cold locker room. I shuddered, and my teeth chattered.

"My gut told me that you were going to be cold," Darius said as he scooped up a clean towel that was lying on a bench and wrapped it around me. "There. Better?"

"Very much. Thank you," I thanked. "I have never seen you at this school. Are you a new student?"

"Oh, I am new. However, I am not a student."

"Oh...oh?" I tilted my head to the side. "How old are you?"

"Seventeen."

"Really? Cool! I am sixteen."

Darius chuckled again. "You definitely look sixteen, Miss...?"

"Wolf. Sam Wolf. Just call me Sam."

"Ah. Sam. What a perfect name for a perfect girl."

I gave him a playful push. "Stop that. We just met."

"Hmm. Then maybe we should spend more time with each other. How about...we meet up after school? We can have lunch together."

"Sounds like a date! Oops. I mean..." I giggled nervously.

"I will see you just outside of the school. And before we depart, I need to tell you something. You are probably wondering why I am in the girls' locker room."

"Yes. Could you elaborate?"

"How about I show you instead?"

Darius gently took my hand and pulled me to the gym. When we were outside of the locker room, Darius showed me the door.

"Now do you understand why I was in there?"

I was so embarrassed. I wanted to hide somewhere and never show my face again.

I had accidentally gone into the boys' locker room!

"I saw you going in here," Darius said. "I needed to get you."

"Well..." I rubbed the back of my neck. "...you saved me from a ton of embarrassment. I guess that you could say that you saved my life."

"Anything to help. Now you had better get going. I would think that you have classes."

"Yep!" I waved goodbye and dashed into the right locker room. The girls' locker room.

Faster than I expected, the end of the school day arrived. Joan, Lorraine, and I were at our lockers and packing up. My friends already knew about Darius because I told them earlier.

"You are lucky, Sam," Joan said. "It is not every day that a gorgeous and nice guy comes into your life."

Right as I had closed my locker door, I was pushed against it. I heard my sister.

"You had better not go."
