After Joan felt better and was no longer crying, I said my goodbyes to her and Lorraine and went on my merry way.

"Wait, Sam." Lorraine gently grabbed my wrist. "Will you be okay?"

I put on a fake smile and nodded. "Yeah. Definitely."

"You sure? Joan and I can join you in class. Our teachers will not mind."

"I will be fine. I have to take a shower before gym, so that will be relaxing."

Joan pinched her nose with her thumb and finger. "That explains why you smell."

"You mean that I smell good," I joked.

I hurried past them before either of them could utter another word and down the hall. I made a sharp turn to the left and followed the way of the hall, like that it was guiding me, until I reached my destination. The gym.

When you first go into the gym, you will notice two blue doors that are far apart from each other and across the room. The door to the left was the girls' locker room, and the door to the right belonged to the boys.

No one was in the gym, and I sprinted to the door and opened it. It was heavy, but I managed to open it with ease. I stepped inside and closed the door behind me. It was pitch black, and I felt for a light switch until I found one and flipped it.

The lights flickered. Once. Twice. Then they stayed on, and my body shivered. The locker room was cold, and the floor was concrete.

"Now would be the best time for a shower," I remarked.

I found the row of showers and seconds later, I was in there and feeling the warm water. I was not cold anymore, and the tensions in my muscles faded. I was living the dream! Okay, one of the dreams.

Sadly, the relaxation did not last, and it was not because I got out of the shower.

I was washing my hair when I heard the door to the locker room creaking. I played no attention to it because I assumed that it was one of the girls. I also did not grow suspicious of the slow footsteps.

Clonk. Clonk. Clonk. Clonk.

"I am in the shower!" I notified the girl over the raging water. "I will be getting out in a few minutes!"

Before I tell you the cliffhanger, I should inform you that I was not naked in the shower. I repeat. I was not naked. It is illegal to be naked in Forlot - long story there - and you have to take a shower or bath with clothes on.

Are we clear? Good.

As I was rinsing the soap out of my hair, I heard the shower curtain being pulled back. I gasped and was about to face the figure - when a hand covered my mouth.

Want to know the worst part? It was not a girl's hand. It was a boy's.
