As you might have expected, we all screamed bloody murder. Except Darius. He instead was sitting up straight and had his palm over his mouth. He told me later that he was trying to not send the wolf into aggressive mode. But what was the point of staying still and quiet when us girls were screaming our heads off?

"How in the world can a wolf or any animal for that matter reach this window?!" Lorraine exclaimed.

"Do not tell me that wolves can fly now!" Joan proclaimed.

I stopped with my screams and stared hard at the wolf. My eyes bulged when I came to the realization that it hung by his paws and claws! I notified this to everyone else, and they did not take it well.

Darius uncovered his mouth. "I guess that the wolf having wings is not true," he said. Both his forehead and palms were sweating like crazy.

"That does not make it better!" Lorraine pointed out. "How can this be happening?"

"Very carefully," I joked.

"Now is not the time to be messing around, Sam!" Joan scolded. "There is a dangerous wolf in front of my window! We need to do something before it breaks in and eats us for lunch!"

I glanced back at the animal. It was peering in through the glass and showed off its sharp teeth. Its fur was white, and saliva drooled from its open mouth.

I am unsure why it took me as long as it did - probably because I was in complete shock - but I just realized that the wolf had its eyes locked on me. It moved its bottom jaw up and down and scraped the window using its sharp claws.

"I...I think that it wants me," I managed to choke out.

"Not on my watch!" Darius announced. He quickly got on his feet, rushed to the window, and opened it.

"Oh, no. Oh, no!" Joan said.

"Why would you open the darn window?!" Lorraine and I snapped in unison.

He ignored our question. The wolf brought its furry head close to him and roared in his face. Spit landed all over his face, and he wiped away the drops...and punched the creature.

It must have been a big impact because the white wolf uttered a desperate howl and fell. Darius shut the window and faced us.

"No wolf harms my new friends, especially Sam."

My cheeks instantly got hot, and Darius helped me to my feet. "Thank you for saving us," I thanked.

"Anything for my amazing friends."

My best friends stood. Lorraine said, "How the heck were you able to punch that wolf so hard that it would let go of the wall and fall?"

"I do not like to brag, but I am pretty strong. I can lift things that the average human cannot. My brothers work out almost every day."

"You have brothers?" I wondered.

"Yes, Sam. Two who are the same age as me. Their names are Dixon and Danny. I should introduce you three to them one day."

"How about now? You can bring them over if they are not busy."

"Both of my brothers usually have a free schedule, so I am sure that you can see them now."

"That would be great."

Darius used Joan's telephone that was sitting on top of her stand and called his brothers. Within minutes, the doorbell rang, and Mr. Morning answered it.

"Hello. May I help you?"

"You certainly may," one of the boys spoke. "Is there somebody here named Darius?"

"Yes. Why do you ask?"

"We are his brothers," the other explained. "He contacted us and told us to meet him at this address."

Mr. Morning held the door open for them. "Come on in. He and the girls just went into the living room."

"Our brother is with some ladies?"

Dixon and Danny strolled into the room. They were taken aback to see Darius on the couch with three girls. His arm was wrapped around my shoulders, signaling that I was already taken.

"Hey, brothers of mine," Darius greeted, waving to them. "Are you jealous yet?"

He introduced us to them. Dixon was the guy with the short, blonde hair. He wore gray shorts, a gray, short-sleeved shirt, and gray shoes. Danny was the one with the short, black hair and darker skin. He wore red shorts, a red, short-sleeved shirt, and red sneakers.

"You know, this is perfect," Darius continued on. "There is an equal number in this room now. Three boys. Three girls. And Sam and I are a thing, so she is off the list."

"Wait, what?" I said, looking at him.

It was obvious that Joan and Lorraine had crushes on the new boys. Their smiles grew wider and wider as Danny and Dixon strolled over to them and sat between them. Dixon was next to Joan, and Danny was next to Lorraine.

"H-hi," Lorraine stammered, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear. "It is nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is all yours," Danny commented in an attracting voice. His hot breath hit her face.

"Do you not mean 'the pleasure is all mine'? I..."

Her voice trailed off as soon as Danny planted a kiss on her cheek. She sank into the couch and giggled.

Joan placed her palms over the lenses of her glasses as Dixon took a seat next to her. She giggled nervously and curled into a ball.

"I like your glasses," Dixon complimented.

She uncovered her lenses, but remained in a ball. "That is the sweetest thing that anyone has said to me. Besides what Sam and Lorraine said and did to me in the past."

He leaned closer to her. "I like a cute girl with glasses."

She slowly uncurled herself. "I bet that you say that to all the cute girls wearing glasses."

"Nope. Just you."

I laughed at how silly my friends were acting - before Darius kissed me.
