The Twins

It took about three days for Minerva to recover after waking, the entire time she had to explain what had happened, she decided to leave the boat out of her story, she could only remember certain events. After waking up Minerva had broken out of her mindless attitude that she had been brainwashed into during her time with the raiders, the way she acted was now calmer and more sorrowful, after they way she had treated her friends like animals and they way she had tricked them, she felt awful. She had remembered what Clementine had told her, "Tenn says he forgives you" Minerva hadn't even thought about her brother and now that she could see straight she realised the danger she put him in. She wished that she could just run back and hug him but the chances that they would forgive her after were very slim.

"Minnie...What happened on the boat?" Sophie asked awkwardly, even though she had found her sister she was still scared that she would say something to upset her in someway.
Minerva took a moment to think, she had to come to terms with what she had done, who she might have killed, who she was. "I..I...I'm a monster" was all she could manage to say before she burst out of the cabin and began walking into the forest, Sophie attempted to protest but she new it was useless to argue with her.

As Minerva walked she thought about that night on the boat, she felt a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach every time she thought of Violet, she remembered how close they used to be, the connection she shared with her. However as she thought more she remembered Clementine, as thoughts of the brunette entered her mind she felt a primal anger form deep inside her, she clenched her fists and continued to walk.

Her anger was broken by the sound of voices, she didn't recognise them. She took cover behind a boulder and watched as two people passed, there were three boys about her age, she recognised Louis and immediately began to panic, if he saw her they would most likely kill her before she could apologise, however in her attempt to hide a collection of small stones rolled underneath her feet creating a noticeable noise. The voices went quiet as she clung to the rock in attempt to hide, a tall figure wondered past her, he walked slowly but with confidence, Minerva found it strange that he wasn't looking around he was just walking, the  tension in the air was shattered by a voice from behind her. "You, behind the rock, come out." Louis said in a demanding tone, the figure in front turning to face her.

Minerva stood up and waited for him talk, he hadn't seen her face yet and she didn't like her chances, in her mind she had two options, run off just to be followed or killed, or surrender and leave her sister alone again. She may have been a little crazy but she wasn't stupid enough to be shot in the back as she ran. She turned around to face him, her fate uncertain.

Louis

He watched as the taller person turned around slowly, his heart was filled with dread as he recognised the familiar face. "I'm sorry..." was all Minerva said as she looked at him. Louis looked at her, anger growing inside of him,"No..You don't get to be sorry not after what you did...what you caused!" Louis shouted, ignoring the danger his volume brought. Louis for a moment then grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to follow "Gabe take her back, don't take your sights off her." Gabe did as he was asked and drew his pistol, aimed it lazily towards the redhead and motioned her to move. Louis and James waited a second before continuing to walk however James stood still and began to talk "Louis can I talk to you for a moment before we continue?" He said nervously, Louis stood confused for a moment then turned to face him, ever since James had brought Clementine back to the school after the boat they had become good friends, they shared a room and Louis thought James was very interesting due to his past. "Sure dude what's up?" He replied. James took a moment to collect himself, he took a deep breath and attempted to talk "Louis... I..L..Li." Louis cut him of and gave the taller boy a hug, "I like you too."

Meanwhile
Gabe and Minerva

As they slowly walked through the forest Gabe was interest in what the girl had to do with his new group. "Hey, what did Louis mean back there?" He asked intrigued. Minerva however didn't like the attitude of the boy and responded in her old more aggressive tone "Non of your business, Hey why are you here?" Gabe didn't want to cause any problems but with an hour walk back he had to occupy himself somehow. "I know Clem, what's it to you?" Minerva suddenly flared into anger again upon the sound of the girls name, even though she knew nothing about her she still somehow blamed her for what happened. "What are you her boyfriend or something or is that Louis?" Gabe chuckled a little at what she had said, even though he was head over heals in love with the brunette he felt like he needed to be respectful of her relationship, that and Violet scared the shit out of the boy. "Ha you wish, I wouldn't even  dare touch her, her girlfriend would cut my arm of with a cleaver." Minerva took a moment to think, Clementine was with Violet, she had never thought of that when she saw them prior to the boat attack.

An hour later

"Clem!Vi! Your gonna want to see this!" Willy shouted from this watchtower, as Minerva stood at the gates, gun to her back and the two people who probably hated them the most in the world arriving shortly she began to feel nervous, she hadn't felt like this since before she was taken by the Delta.

Clem and Violet

As the couple walked over to the gate cautiously to avoid tripping with Clementine's new 'prosthetic' leg that they had built for her. They began to wander what was so surprising until they caught a glimpse of that familiar red hair, however the face it was attached to was not angry and bitter like before, this one was confused and sad. Violet was the first to react, she quickly squeezed Clementine's had as the looked over at the girl. Clementine however didn't know how to feel, she didn't feel angry or sad she was more intrigued by her sudden appearance.

"Clementine... I'm... I'm sorry." Was all Minerva said as she looked through the gate bars. Clementine felt a strange sensation erupt deep inside of her, it made her happy yet sad at the same time. She knew that she would have to made a decision that would secure the redheads fate at some point in the near future.

Could she be redeemed?
