A soft breeze washed over Clementine and Violet as they lay in their soft bed as the golden mid-morning sun shined through the barred window, the distant sound of conversation and bird calls were almost completely shadowed by the sound of the blonde's heartbeat as Clementine rested her head light on her chest.

"We should probably get up." She said as Violet curled her hair between her fingers. "I wish we could just stay here forever, you and me, this perfect moment." The brunette said as her eyes drifted over the silky rays of sunlight peeking into the room. "That does sound better than the possibility of being eaten alive or shot." said Violet with a slight hint of sarcasm.

The couple lay in silence for a brief moment, Violet tracing her fingers over Clementine's bare skin, using her finger to analyse every little detail that made her so perfect. As her fingers reached her shoulder she began to drift around an old circular scar. Just as the blonde was about to ask about its origin a knock out was heard at the door, "shit." Violet said with a sigh as she sat up, leaving Clementine to submerge herself in the blanket.
Quickly grabbing some her bra off the floor and securing it to her body she began to look for something to cover herself. "where the fuck did that go?" She mumbled to herself as she looked.
"Here, try this." Clementine said as she threw a black tank top across the room. Placing the fabric over her head and pulled it down. Twisting the lock and opening the door Violet was met with a slightly depressed looking Ruby, "Oh hey Vi, just wanted to tell you that we're doing a ceremony for Tenn and James in a little while, everyone's meeting outside first." The redhead said sadly. "Oh ok, we'll see you soon." She said before closing the door.

Walking out into the refreshing waves of sun the couple walked hand in hand towards a collective of figures that stood in the darkness of the graveyard; the distant and deafening sound of silence grew louder, loud enough that it caused their ears to ring.

Standing closest to the graves Louis did not move, he stood still and silent with a bowed head. By his side stood AJ who held a brightly coloured picture which he lay down in between the grave markers. The silence continued as a whistle and distant bird calls filled the woods and echoed into the school, "They were my friends." AJ said, breaking the tension in the air, "and we couldn't help them." A small moment of motivation washed over the group,

"I know I was an asshole sometimes but Tenn was my friend." Willy started.
"James was alright by me, even if we didn't agree on everything." Andrew added.
"Tenn was like family to me." Said Violet
"He sacrificed himself for me..." Clementine said with guilt, "I would be dead if it wasn't for him."
The grave yard retuned to its fullest silence, even the birds were silent. "Thank you guys." Both Sophie and Louis said in unison. Eventually everyone dispersed into their regular routine, all apart for Violet and Harry who retuned to the office whilst Clementine helped pick and grow food in the greenhouse.

"Soooooo, what was it you wanted?" Harry said as he closed the heavy wooden door. "Remember that thing you did for me?" Violet asked as she leant against the ancient yet sturdy desk. Harry scrunched up his face for a second as he thought, "Long week, sorry can't remember." Violet fiddled with the metallic band around her finger and lifted it up and smirked joyfully. "Oh shit, yeah totally forgot; being locked in a dark room and being shot really makes me forget things." Violet looked up confused whilst she adjusted the ring properly on her finger. "Sorry, Anyway, I have an idea but we need some help... maybe send Aasim and Andrew out to get food: Louis and I could go get some decorations whilst you two sort shit here?" He said walking around the office whilst making elaborate hand motions. Violet looked at him and rubbed her arm nervously. "One... little... problem, I haven't told anyone yet." Harry sighed and crouched down behind the desk, after a few seconds and the sounds of wood being manipulated he reappeared with two bottles in hand, "Any of you drunk before or do we go light?" He said indicating the two contrasting bottles: one clear, holding a clear liquid with a faded red label; the other shorter and wider but darker glass and a cork.
"Errrrmm, Clem said that she had a little drink of rum when she was eleven, other than that no." She said slightly confused, "Wait, how did you get that?"

Evening

"Your telling me that one of us hid that in the fishing shack?" Ruby said as the quiet sounds of music played in the background. "Probably Mitch." Sophie added, her comments made some of the original residents of the school chuckle as they questioned the origins of the Vodka bottle.

The group were now all gathered inside the music room in a circle, Clementine and Violet snuggling on a couch; Ruby and Aasim sitting together on the floor; AJ and Willy were both drawing separately and Louis and Sophie sat separate and distant from the group but still involved and Harry and Andrew on a set of chairs, Omar had decided to go to sleep early. The group were faintly illuminated by a mixture of candle and moonlight.

"Anyway, I have a game we can play, never have I ever, you have to drink if you've done it." The group nodded, even Sophie and Louis who were desperately to distract themselves from their grief decided to play.

"Ok...  I've never blown up a boat." He started.
The bottle was passed around and all except Sophie and Andrew, the initial reaction to the alcohol was varied, Violet and Ruby had little to no reaction, Clementine's face slightly screwed up and Aasim and Louis patted their chests.
"Never have I ever... crashed a car!" Violet smiled at Clementine slyly.
Clementine, Harry and Andrew all drunk, this time she drank smoothly.
"What happened to you two?" She asked, "Long story short don't let the one eyed man drive."

The game continued for sometime, many strange stories were shared and after a few drinks they were all a little drunk, Clementine and Violet were dancing slowly in each other's arms; Aasim was attempting to play the piano whilst Ruby was still mainly sober and laughing, Sophie and Louis were talking quietly in a corner whilst Harry and Andrew discussed things privately.
"Hey Vi why did you set this up in the first place?" Ruby said to the slow dancing blonde. She giggled playfully and lifted up her and  Clementine's linked hands revealing the rings. "We're getting married." Clementine said happily looking at the blonde's face. Ruby let out a high pitched squeal. "Oh my God! Why didn't you tell us?" She said loudly drawing the attention of the rest of the group.
"What?" Exclaimed Sophie
"Seriously?" Questioned Aasim confused.
"What does 'married' mean?" AJ said.

Both Clementine and Violet stood facing the group of people that they both considered to be family, both of them slightly intoxicated, both of them slightly embarrassed, both of them feeling a mutual confidence.
The music suddenly stopped, Violet looked over to the record player, Harry stood and gestured for them to continue.

"Yeah...We're getting married."
