After The End - Violentine

Calm

As Clementine lay in bed thoughts of what could possibly happen flooded her mind, last time they faced people like the Delta people were killed and injured. Even after the stressful day that she had had she couldn't sleep.
"Hey Vi?" She said quietly and nervously as she turned to face her.
Violet smiled shyly
"What are we going to do, last time we almost died and now..." Clementine's worried thoughts were cut off by the blonde's lips. Clementine felt all the tension in her body disappear as she softly melted into the sudden yet welcome kiss. After a few seconds the couple disconnected their lips and looked into each other's eyes loving, Violet ran her fingers across Clementine's face softly.
"Vi...I know we haven't had much time together but..." she paused to think but no words came to mind. Violet softly smiled and caressed the brunette's cheek. "I know... I love you too." The blonde said calmly. Clementine smiled and closed her eyes, her companion shuffling closer to provide her with a sense of warmth and comfort. As she drifted off into sleep she felt Violet place a soft kiss in the end of her nose.

Clementine's eyes eased open as the morning sun light filtered through the old sheet covering the window. As she full open her eyes she looked to her side. "Good morning sleepyhead." Violet said softly as they lay intertwined in the bed.
"You should have woken me up." Clementine said in protest
"It's ok I asked Kate to cover for me so I could make sure you were ok." Violet said honestly. Clementine smiled and and placed her head into the crook of Violet's neck.
"Don't get too comfortable we still have to figure out what to do with Minerva." Violet said with slight disgust. Clementine raised her head back up and pouted in annoyance, Violet took the opportunity to plant a kiss onto her lips before exiting the bed and helping her girlfriend re attach her leg.

As the couple made their way outside towards the benches they noticed Louis talking to a group of people whilst waving his deck of cards around.
"Ah finally you guys decide to join us." He stated as they sat down.
"Now where is the guy with the one eye?" He questioned as he looked around the courtyard.
"Oh Ruby said that he needed some rest and ..." Clementine was cut of by another voice. "I'm here, and no I'm not going to rest, don't bother arguing with me." Harry said as he sat next to Andrew. Louis smiled and began to hand out piles of cards to each player
"What are we play?" The one eyed man asked
"WAR!" Louis said over enthusiastically.
Harry simply nodded, "Yeah your doctor friend told me about it, said you might get us to play it, told me the rules to save time."

"Ok Round One."
Harry drew highest and Violet lowest
"So then... first time we met you guys I remember someone saying you two were girlfriends, that true?" He asked sincerely.
"Yeah... There a problem." Violet replied. Harry shook his head and smiled "Nah you guys are cool, especially at your age, more power to the both of you." He said happily.
"Round Two"
Louis drew highest and Clementine the Lowest. The grin on his face grew as he thought of a question.
"Ok I got one, how many times have you and Vi..." he stopped talking and winked suggestively.
"You could just say had sex, and no I'm not going to tell you." Clementine said sternly at a defeated Louis
"Alright then Round Three"
Andrew drew top card and James the lowest.
"I don't mean to be rude but your an ex-whisperer aren't you?" Andrew asked confidently. James looked confused at the man with the bow "Yes... how did you know that?"
"I noticed your knives, I've only ever see whisperers use that kind." There was an awkward silence until Louis began to talk again
"With that eye sight you could help Aasim." He said sarcastically.
"Actually I was going to ask, what do you want me and Andrew doing, I need something to focus on." Harry asked Clementine. The brunette thought for a moment, "Well from what I've seen Andrew could hunt but it depends on how much you can do without damaging your stitches?"
Harry looked around for a moment then back at the table. "I could make some pretty cool weapons form some stuff around here, if you want me to?"
Clementine nodded and the group slowly left to complete their jobs.

Hey sorry for a short chapter but I have some issues I need to sort with my internet. I should be able to get another chapter out soon but currently it's  2am and I have to get some sleep before I die. Anyway hope you enjoyed, have a good day.
