Clementine suddenly jolted awake, the feeling of cold hard dirt beneath her. She quickly stood sat up and looked around. She found herself in what seemed to be some form of loading area, however the chain link fences were boarded up and several groups of people sitting against the walls.
"Oh, you finally awake." An unfamiliar voice said from her side. Clementine turned to see a young woman with short black hair sat against the the wall. "Where am I, were are my friends?" Clementine said with a slight anger. " Hey, hey, calm down, we're both in the same situation here." The woman said defensively. Clementine looked around again and tried to stand up, as she looked down she saw that her leg was missing. "Fuck." She said under her breath.
"Look I'm sorry, we've all had a lot taken from us, but were not enemies...In Dawn by the way." The woman said
"I'm Clementine, do you know where my friends are?" She asked with concern.
"Well the guy with the black hair was taken for work about an hour ago and the girl was taken by one of the guards for some reason."
Clementine took a moment to think.
"What about a guy with one eye, you see anyone like that?" Clementine asked.
"No... but when you arrived I heard some guy shouting but they didn't come in here." Dawn responded.

As the two captives talked the metal clad door that held them in place opened loudly and a man walked in. He walked around the yard as the captives looked on in fear and hatred as the man walked slowly around them. He stopped in front of Clementine. "You, come with me." He said with a demanding tone. Clementine did not move but simply put her leg out and show it to the man. He sighed frustratedly, "Fine. Dawn help her walk." Duke stood up and walked over to Clementine, she helped her stand and together they managed to walk out of the pen in which they were imprisoned.

As she walked the place in which she was being kept seemed to be an old factory now turned Delta HQ. As she followed the man a throbbing pain began to spread around her head. She continued to walk until the man opened a door to a room. "Sit there and wait." He said pointing to the stool next to a workbench. Dawn let her go and Clementine hopped over, using the table as support. When she was seated the man slammed the door leaving her alone in what seemed to be an storage room. As she looked around she noticed guns, food and medical supplies all in abundance locked behind security windows. As she looked around the thumping pain in her head resurfaced. Clementine took off her hat and placed it on the table in front of her. She rested her elbows in the table and placed her hands on her temples and closed her eyes. Whilst she sat there she heard the door opened again and a person walk in, they sat next to her and began to speak. "Hello... are you ok?" The person asked with genuine sympathy in there voice.
Clementine looked up and opened her eyes. "Yeah just..." Then she noticed something familiar about the person that was talking to her, they shared the same face with a woman she thought had died years ago.
"Christa?"
The woman looked at Clementine like she had just seen a ghost, her eyes darted from her face to her hat and down to her missing leg.
"C..Clementine?" She said slightly shaken. They spent a moment just looking at each other in disbelief, until Christa pulled Clementine into a quick hug. "Oh my god... it's really you." The woman said emotionally, Clementine smiled and nodded. Christa took another look at her, "Look at you, all grown up, but what happened... your leg, and how are you here?" She said with concern. Clementine looked down sadly, the events that lead to her losing her leg still caused her to get emotional from time to time. "I got bit trying to escape Lilly and the Delta." She said "That was a few months ago, then yesterday we were attacked again and I need to get back to my friends, my boy and my girlfriend." She added emotionally. Christa stood up and locked the door. "Right, I have to get you out of here, wait there a moment." She walked over to a cabinet ok the far side of the room and opened it, she searched around for a few seconds then pulled something out. She walked back over to the work bench and placed a well made prosthetic leg on the table. "Put that on." She said before walking off to another cabinet. Whilst her old friend looked around Clementine attached the limb to her body and stood up carefully, the new limb was more comfortable than the old one and allowed her to to walk faster due to its light weight material. When Christa returned she placed a pair of tall boots, similar to her old pair and a device on the table. "Should be your size and this should help if you need it." She said picking up the object and pressing a button which caused a small, sharp blade to appear. Clementine adjusted her new shoes and thanked Christa. "Wait, what are you going to do?" She asked. Christa looked at Clementine and frowned, "The last person who tried to leave this place had his head cut off by Colter and his men, after that a lot of people wanted to leave but couldn't I'm going to try to get some help but it may take me a while." Clementine looked down at the blade in her hands, she opened and closed it before hiding it in her pocket. She placed her hat back on her head and walked over to the door where Christa was talking to the guard. She waited for them to stop talking before following the man back to the pen in which she was being held.

As she walked back over to the place where she woke up to find James sitting patiently waiting for somebody to return. "Clementine, good to see you." He said with a smile. Clementine sat down next to her friend and leant against the harsh wall. "You too James, where were you?" She asked
"They had some people move some things around, I told to help."
Clementine looked down at the hard ground beneath her, they were nothing but slaves to these people.
"How did you get the leg, when you were taken they must have left it at the school?" James asked intrigued.
"This is going to sound strange but the woman who does the inventory is an old friend of mine" she paused for a moment and lowered her voice "She's going to help us get back home."
