Breakfast was a whirlwind of panic and surprisingly good food. Some of the acolytes that were at the table she distinctly remembered from yesterday- two days ago? Anyway, some looked rather, let's just say hostile. Although the looks she received made her want to hide under the table, she looked straight past them and kept her gaze cool and level. It didn't bother her, she told herself, they want to see a reaction from her, and she would not give one. There were about sixteen at the table, not including her. The breakfast was oatmeal with cinnamon and a little honey and an apple. Although it was good, she really, really wanted a warm chocolate croissant from Jacob. Mercy Lewis, those were delicious. The acolytes all ate at the same pace, which was somewhere between civilized and scarfing it down. Tina matched it. The oatmeal was gone in five minutes. A house-elf appeared with a loud pop! and the dishes and spoons were gone with another loud pop! The acolytes stood up, pushing in their chairs, and left the room. When the acolytes were all gone, the only people left in the room were Miss Steele, Vinda, and her.

"Miss Steele?" Vinda said.

"Yes, Madam?" Miss Steele replied.

"Take Miss Goldstein on a tour of the castle."

"Yes, Madam."

Vinda turned to Tina. "You will behave, yes?"

"Yes, Madam," Tina replied.

"I'll expect you at supper." And with that, Vinda left. Miss Steele and Tina waited until they were sure Vinda had left.

"So, should we do a tour first or library first?" Tina asked.

"You have those maps in your head, right?" Miss Steele asked back.

"Yeah."

"Why don't we go to the library, then. You already know a lot of places in this castle."

"Do you know if anyone's going to be in the library?"

"No, I don't think so. There's going to be a rally in Dubrovnik-"

"That area has a large wizarding population, doesn't it? The, you know, walled city?"

"Yeah."

"Jeez."

"Anyway, most of the acolytes are gone because of that, but they always leave some back at the castle to 'hold down the fort'."

"I should tell Queenie about the rally..."

"Maybe not."

"Why?"

"If the wizarding governments stop every one of Grindelwald's rallies Grindelwald is going to suspect something. That something's happening inside the castle, inside his inner circle."

"Right. Okay. I'll let Queenie know anyway, so they know it's happening, but I'll tell her to have the Croatian government not interfere."

"Sounds good."

"Give me a second." Tina closed her eyes and reached out to Queenie.

Tina?

Hey, Queenie.

Do you need anything?

No, but I have some information.

Great.

There's going to be a rally in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Tell it to the British Ministry, so they can send the message over.

Okay, anything else?

Tell the Croatian government not to interfere with the rally, if they can even find it. The information is more of a heads up.

Why?
