Better Off
Season Two: Episode 10

Vosh looked into the sky and saw not 1 but 3 Manhunters flying toward them. His heart sunk into his stomach. If just one Manhunter could immobilize the Titans, what would 3 do to them?

"Uh, Gar. Remember that real-life experience you were talking about?" Vosh said.

Gar and Conner turned around. He saw the Manhunter's and gulped. "Something told me those things would be back for more." He said.

"What are they?" Conner asked.

"Manhunters," Gar and Vosh answered in unison.

"What do they want?" Conner asked.

"Me." Vosh answered.

Vosh, Gar, Conner, and Krypto stared the levitating Manhunters down. So long as they didn't move, the Manhunter's wouldn't either.

"Supernova of Oa located. Life readings--positive. Mission report: extraction." Said the android leading the pack.

"Uh what do we do?" Gar asked.

Vosh could hear the screams of fear surrounding them. A big fight with civilians around wasn't ideal. However, they didn't seem to have a choice.

"Gar and Krypto, your jobs are to get as much civilians to safety as possible." Vosh said.

Gar and Krypto sprung into action.

"What about us?" Conner asked.

"Well you're Superboy and I'm Supernova, I think it's pretty obvious what our jobs are." Vosh said.

Vosh waited until Gar and Krypto evacuated most of the citizens. When the screams grew more distant, he powered up. "You shouldn't have come." He said to the Manhunters.

Vosh let the purple energy that blazed inside of him out. The energy rippled around his body. His power levels rose until he was no longer Vosh. He was Supernova.

He took off forward, flying at the speed of light. His fist, encased with the power of a supernova, collided with the head of a Manhunter. He watched as the android flew backwards into a building.

Glass rained down onto the streets. Supernova looked at his hand. "Woah." He said.

"Vosh look out!" Conner screamed.

Supernova spun around. A metallic fist smashed against his face. He plummeted to the ground and put a crater in the cement around him.

Conner zoomed towards the Manhunter. He leaped into the air and punched the machine into the same building. Before Conner could check on Supernova, he was already flying high once again.

The third Manhunter's arms joined together. It created a canon much larger than its predecessor. The machine took aim at a crowd of people.

Both Conner and Supernova punched the machine at once. It's head exploded. The machine crashed down to the ground, lifeless.

"Nice." Conner cheered.

His merriment didn't last long. A blast of green energy hit him in the chest. Conner skidded back against the concrete like rocks on the pond. He was stopped by a crashing into parked car.

"Conner!" Supernova screamed.

Supernova whirled around. He came face to face with another Manhunter. It hovered in the air, a smoking canon raised.
