Oa
1 Month Later

Supernova and Ganthet made their way through the Citadel. The remaining rubble from the attack had been cleared. The high chairs of the guardians were turned to their former stations.

The reconstruction of Oa and the Lantern Corps, while slow, had been an illuminating process. Out of all the lanterns throughout the multiverse, only 32 survived the crisis. Barely, at that.

Ganthet waved his hand. The door to the central power battery opened. "Supernova I must thank you for all that you've done to help me rebuild." He said.

"FG how many times do I have to tell you, Oa is my home too? I'm happy to help out." Supernova said. He flashed a smile at Ganthet.

"You are truly too good for this multiverse, Supernova. For you to spend months away from your love to help out, it's courageous."

Supernova felt his heart flutter. "Courageous, no. Necessary, yes. Besides, it's been nice to meet the Lanterns. What's left of them, anyway."

He and Ganthet joined hands. They aimed their collective power at the battery. In healing Supernova, the Central Power Battery was severely damaged. Repairs were taking much longer than he expected.

"Every day a new ring returns. Though the multiverse has been recreated, the rings are confused as to who they belong. They must be recalibrated."

"Speaking of rings," Supernova began. He released Ganthet's hand. A large crack remained in the battery, but it would suffice for the day.

"Ah, right, your power ring. I shall be finished within the hour, I just need a little more of your power." Said Ganthet.

"Sure thing, FG, take as much as you need. This ring, it needs to be strong enough to sustain itself. Y'know so the wearer won't have to stick their hand in my mouth for a recharge."

Supernova cupped his hands together. The purple aura that surrounded his starry body, pooled into his hands. He gave the ball of light a gentle push.

The light floated across the room. It moved through the air with precision. Supernova watched it conjoin with a larger ball of his power.

"Your time on Earth has certainly provided you with a rather... vivid imagination." Ganthet said.

The last guardian flew to the ball of energy. He used his tools to siphon the power and imbed it into a ring made of Nth Metal. Giving the sentient metal even more power.

"My imagination is what gives me power. Same for your Lanterns, too. Are you sure the ring will be done in time?" Supernova asked. He hovered over Ganthet's shoulder.

"Billions of years and you still have not outgrown your impatience. The ring would've been finished months ago, had you allowed me to use Oan tech. This Nth Metal, it has a mind and power of its own. Remind me, why did you decide this should carry your power?"

"It's sentient, that's why. I can speak to the ring. We've agreed on things, agreed on the perfect barer for our combined power." Supernova explained.

"And your eagerness to create your own Corps, it has nothing to do with your doubt of my competency?" Ganthet asked.

Supernova shook his head before he spoke. "Of course not, FG. This is about something greater. The Paragons, while powerful, aren't strong enough to defend the Earths on their own. While I'm away, this barer will help."
