"We're falling out of the sky!" Vosh screamed. His stomach dipped as he flew out of his seat. Vosh's back hit the roof and stuck like glue. His head smacked against the overhead bin.

"Vosh, you have to go Supernova and get us out of here!" Dick called. He could barely hear himself over the roaring wind.

Vosh wasn't responsive. Dick could see both Vosh and Dawn's eyes shut. "Vosh! You have to wake up!" He screamed.

"We can't die like this! Think of the Titans... Think.. Think of Conner..." Dick began to fade into darkness.

Supernova exploded to life. The plane was falling, Dick and Dawn could die! He didn't know what to do. He felt so powerless.

"You are one of the most powerful beings in existence, child. Your power knows only one limit, and that is your imagination."

Supernova shut his eyes tight. He needed to repair the plane. He thought back to the time when he created clothing out of thin air. When he fixed the Titans Tower with a single thought.

Supernova imagined the jet. How Dick said it was the best in it's class. The rows of expensive seats, the perfect insulation, and durable wings. He thought of the self-flying controls. The way the seats hugged his body.

When he opened his eyes, dark clouds swirled around the jet. Stars twinkled within the clouds. The clouds flowed back into Supernova. The jet was completely fixed.

Supernova leaned down and shook Dick awake. "Dick, wake up." He said.

As Dick's eyes opened the plane shook again. Supernova sucked his teeth. "I am not going through that again." He hissed.

He shut his eyes and pictured himself falling out of the plane. Sure enough, his body phased through the metal. He levitated under the plane.

They'd fallen about 17,000 feet. Something hindered the jet from gaining altitude. Supernova flew to the front of the aircraft.

A blazing red streak of energy crackled through the sky. It was headed directly towards the jet. Supernova opened his hand and encased the jet in a purple shield.

The shield exploded upon impact. "That has to be from Apokalips." He said to himself.

Supernova put another shield around the plane. He flew upwards and saw Lobo hovering above. Lobo's black dreads flowed in the wind. His space cycle whirred to life as it prepared for another blast.

"Enough, Lobo." Said Supernova with flared nostrils. He levitated so that he was eye level with Lobo. "You won't hurt another one of my friends."

"I didn't mean to Keezy Femme, but you wouldn't stop moving. If you would've accepted your fate the first time..."

"Stop talking! It's just you and me now, Czarnian filth." Supernova spat. He thought back to the suit Dick had given him. Slowly, the fabric of the suit grew over his body.

"You're in high demand, Oan. At first I was paid to bring you to Apokalips, but my mission changed." Lobo said. He flicked a switch on his cannon.

The cannon whirred and whined. Purple lights flickered within the red energy that swirled around the canon. "Say goodnight, Supernova."

Supernova zoomed forward at the speed of light. Smoldering colorful energy surrounded his fist. He delivered a crackling punch to Lobo's face.
