Fight Or Flight (1)
Season Two: Episode 6

Conner and Vosh locked eyes. With the slightest nod of his head, Vosh let Conner know they were on the same page. It was time to fight.

Conner punched the soldier to his right. The soldier groaned and did a complete flip in the air. Before he landed, Conner was already delivering a punch that sent another soldier flying across the room. It only took a second.

"Fire, Fire, Fire!" A soldier ordered.

Vosh's eyes widened. He whirled around, only to come face to face with the barrel of a rifle. He opened his hand in time for a purple vortex of energy to absorb the bullets being fired into him.

Normally, when a person is shot, it doesn't feel good. To Vosh, every bullet seemed to make him stronger. He grabbed the gun and yanked it from the man's hands.

The soldier took a swing at him. Vosh moved with the fluidity of an expert marksman. He weaved under the fist and elbowed the armored man. Vosh heard the man's ribcage crack. The soldier spat up blood and toppled over.

More gunfire whizzed through the dinning room. Conner zoomed past Vosh and flipped the kitchen island onto 3 soldiers. Bullets whirled past his Vosh's head and we're on track to kill Lionel.

Vosh reached out just in time. A powerful orb to match the purple energy in his eyes surrounded Lionel. The bullets melted against the force field.

Vosh rushed to the man's side. "Mr. Luthor I need you to stay down, okay?" He said as he ushered the old man to a corner of the room.

"Freeze!" A soldier ordered. He took aim at Vosh but Krypto melted his gun with laser eyes.

Vosh flicked his wrist and the same purple orb that once protected Lionel was propelled in the soldier's direction. The energy, so immense, tore a hole through the soldier's abdomen. It left him see through.

Vosh looked at his glowing hand in awe. He was so distracted that he didn't see a soldier ready to blast him in the side of his face. Luckily, Conner did.

Conner moved like a blur. He tackled the man through a wall.

Vosh sprinted into the room just in time to meet the next fleet of soldiers. He formed a ball with his hands and pooled the energy that they emitted. Within a second a ball bustling with electricity floated between his hands.

He looked at an oncoming soldier and gulped. "I don't want to hurt you," Vosh warned. He thrusted the ball forward after the soldier's grip on the trigger tightened.

The energy smashed into the man's chest. The black suit the soldier wore was encased in a purple energy. The soldier screamed in agony. His body was imploded from the inside out. The ash that was left of him rained on the hardwood floor.

A second soldier came at him. He punched Vosh on the side of the face. Vosh staggered. Before he could recover the soldier kneed him in his ribcage.

Vosh grunted at the impact. He whirled around the soldier's next attack and kicked his leg. The man fell onto one knee. Vosh punched the soldier's helmet. He seared through the gear just enough for the man's hair to melt.

The soldier spun himself and sliced Vosh with a knife. Vosh hissed and blocked the next blow. He kicked the soldier over the couch.

The soldier threw another blow. Vosh caught his fist in his hand. His pleased grin was illuminated by the purple light emitting from his hands. "I'm not going back." Vosh seethed.
