Season Two: Episode 12

"Are you sure this is the right place?" Donna asked.

"Positive. Are we all clear on the plan?" Dawn asked. Both Dawn and Donna looked at Vosh in the rear view.

He crossed his arms over his chest. "Yes, we're clear. No blasting holes in the guy's chest. Can we get this show on the road?"

Dawn sighed. "Vosh I know this is difficult but we will get Gar and Conner back. We have to be smart about doing so, though. Whatever Cadmus has planned, we can't let them know we're onto them."

"I know, I know. Now can we please start the process? The longer we wait, the worse I feel. Not to mention, we'll need Gar and Conner for the crisis to come."

"About this Crisis... Are you sure it's still an issue? I mean that was a billion years ago..." Donna said.

"My fathers have been fighting this war since before I was born. It was the feedback from their war that created me, and the feedback from my birth immobilized them for nine billion years,"

"I tried to end it and that resulted in me becoming human and captive for seven years. Then I broke free, came here to warn the heroes of Earth and was imprisoned for another seven years. That's fourteen years gone to waste, Donna. We haven't averted the crisis, I can feel the Anti-Matter wave getting closer by the second." Vosh responded.

Donna and Dawn gulped. "A simple 'no' would've been okay." Donna said.

"Would you two shut up? We need to do this now. Gar and Conner are counting on us," Dawn scolded.

They stepped out of the car. Vosh went Supernova and flew into the backyard while Donna and Dawn went to the front door. The delivery girl guise was perfect for a dirt bag Cadmus agent.

It took mere minutes for the girls to subdue Walter. Dawn unlocked the sliding door and let Supernova in. The Cadmus agent was strung up from the ceiling.

"I gotta get one of those," Dawn said as she picked over some sushi. "I mean, as far as accessories go, it kind of has everything."

"I've always wondered what made that lasso so effective." Vosh agreed.

"Full memory wipe, Themyscirian truth coils." Donna responded. She dragged her fingers down the lasso.

The golden glow radiating from the lasso was entrancing. Earth magic was something he'd never learned on Oa. Vosh wanted to touch it, but him and magic don't mix well.

"So, Walter... When your Cadmus friends attacked Titans Tower, your face showed up on our cameras." Donna said as she tightened her grip.

"I was there, yes." Walter confessed.

Dawn and Vosh approached him from both sides. "What happened to our friends Conner and Gar?" Dawn asked, realizing Vosh couldn't.

"They did some kind of brain salad surgery on them. The two of them. We control them now, Phase One." Walter explained.

Donna stood and tightened the lasso. "What's Phase Two?" She demanded.

"I don't know." He cried out as Donna tightened the lasso around him.

"I don't know, I don't have clearance." Walter cried.

Donna sighed in annoyance. "He's telling the truth." She said.
