A blinding light flashed through the room. Vosh and Alister stood in the middle of Clark's office.

"We've been to all of the other Earths but this one, our Paragon has to be he..." Vosh lost all words.

He saw 2 Supermen standing over a body. Not just any body, Conner's body. Smoke still flowed from the holes in his back.

Tears stung Vosh's eyes. "Wh...what happened? Oh my god what happened?" He demanded.

Vosh dropped down onto his knees. He grabbed Conner's lifeless body and flipped him onto his back. Conner's eyes were still open. Wide, cold, and dead.

Those weren't the blue eyes Vosh had grown to know. The eyes Vosh stared into whenever he needed to ground himself.

Tears clouded his eyes. He blinked rapidly, unwilling to let tears blur his vision. Vosh pulled Conner into his arms.

"No, no, no, Conner please. Don't do this to me, not again. Please not again." He sobbed.

"I... I am so sorry." Said Clark. "I couldn't stop myself. I..."

Vosh's gaze snapped to him. The tears in his eyes sizzled as they turned to vapor. Vosh's eyes glowed furiously, so bright that purple light filled the room.

"You did this?" He asked. "You killed him? How could you kill your own son!" He screamed.

Vosh's scream shook the ground. His words pierced into Clark's chest. An invisible force slammed Superman against the wall.

"It wasn't him, Vosh. Lex used the book to control him, Conner sacrificed himself for us." Said Iris, tears in her eyes as well.

Vosh looked back to Conner. The force that held Clark against the wall evaporated. He fell onto one knee.

"Vosh I am so sorry." Alister said. He watched his newfound friend sob softly as he held Conner against his chest.

The ground rumbled underneath their feet. They could hear screams from outside. The sound of glass breaking and metal crunching beckoned the other heroes attentions.

Lois looked out the window. Her brows furrowed. "Guys we have another problem." She said.

The other heroes joined her at the window. The blue skies were gone. An aurora borealis of color swirled in place of the clouds. Meteorites spilled from the skies and slammed into Earth.

"What's happening out there? Is this a side effect of Luthor using the book or the antimatter wave?" Clark asked his wife.

"I have no idea but it's not safe here anymore. We have to get back to the Waverider." Lois said.

"Agreed." Said Lex Luthor. He stood on his feet, rubbing his head.

Vosh felt something break inside of him. A dam that kept his power at bay. It'd been broken by anger.

Supernova exploded to life in a violent blaze. The light sent ripples throughout the room. Everyone was knocked off of their feet, sent flying into walls.

"You!" Supernova roared. He aimed an accusatory finger at Luthor. The energy that radiated from his fingertips tore through the very fabric of reality itself.
