There truly was no way for Y/N to describe the way they felt at Christmastime. It was just so... magical. However, it didn't really, 100 percent feel like Christmastime to Y/N until the decorations went up.
They usually put them up within the first 4-5 days of December, but this year they had waited and they weren't sure why. The end of the year was just creeping up, it seemed.
On the morning of December 10th, Y/N went up to their attic to fetch the decorations. They were all sorted in different baskets or boxes. Big cardboard boxes were ornaments - little ones were lights. They wouldn't need those for a few more days. Big, tall baskets had more elaborate decorations that had been made or bought over the years - like the velvet snowman that went of the bookshelf or the giant light-up snowglobe.
Small baskets had stuff like tinsel and bows. Most people would throw that kind of thing away after Christmas, but Y/N liked to try and save money. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to work out too well, as when they opened the box they saw that the cheap decorations were ruined.
Oh well, they would just have to go to the store and get some more. First, however, they had to put up the elaborate decorations in the big baskets.
Y/N smiled when they were done setting them up - it looked so very festive. It would look even better if there was tinsel. Speaking of which...
Y/N pulled in to the parking lot of a little nearby pop-up Christmas store. They would usually just buy something from the supermarket, but the pop-in store had more options.
They looked at all the various textures, lengths, shininess, and color of the tinsel in the store. Then, suddenly, the looked down at the ground when they heard a loud 'thump', suggesting that someone had fallen.
Indeed, that person had fallen. When Y/N held out their hand to help them up, they got a good look at them.
Y/N nearly gasped. They were an albino! An extremely handsome albino man.
"Thanks, hübsches Mädchen," the man answered, taking the help of their hand gratefully.
"No problem," Y/N said,"...er, why did you fall?"
"I didn't fall - I misstepped."
"So, you tripped?"
"No!"
Y/N giggled. He was funny. Seemingly a little annoying but very nice.
The albino man dusted himself and went to walk away, but stopped and said, "You're pretty good-looking."
"Thanks..." Y/N said, blushing, "but who the heck says 'good-looking'?"
"I do!" the man said.
Right when Y/N was about to leave, bags of tinsel in their arms, someone grabbed their wrist. They were very scared and confused at first but it wasn't as soon as they turned around.
It was the albino man from earlier. He was smirking.
"Hey... could I get your number?"
