I can't believe I actually did it! This started out as just a little fun thing I thought I might not finish, but here we are!
Most of these stories were written at around midnight when I knew I had to get one out but so, so desperately needed sleep. Some I barely even remember writing because I collapsed into bed right after publishing them *cough* Prussia *cough*
And also I sorta fell out of the Christmas cheer. My grandfather passed away just a couple of days ago after spending the whole week at our house, and then the week before that in hospital surrounded by my family... aside from my dad and I. And with all that happening... we didn't have time to worry about Christmas. So we delayed it this year.
Yep. That's right. Today was kinda just like any other day for me. I opened one present - which I'm very grateful for, since it's the thing I wanted the most. But Christmas isn't just about gifts. It's not the same when you aren't with the people you love, with Christmas music flowing through the house, the excitement of Christmas morning keeping you on edge... this is the first year I haven't had that. And it's made me really downtrodden.
Despite that, I continued writing this story, and I'm happy I did. Thanks for reading this one-shot book.
Side note: I'm highly considering doing a bonus for New Year's and New Year's Eve. Should I? If so, which characters?
