Chapter 23

I slowly open my eyes and turn to my right, Brin is tangled in the duvet showing off the side of her naked body. It's a sexy view.

I can't believe last night, it was amazing. So worth the three years wait, I wrap my arm around Brin's waist pulling her closer to me, she stirs slowly opening her eyes.

"Morning" I whisper.

She smiles shyly "Morning"

"How you feeling?" I ask.

"Good and you?" she continues to smile widely, she rolls on top of me and plants a kiss on my bare chest.

"Great" I smirk running my hands up the side of her body.

Her chest is squashed against mine giving me a perfect view of her cleavage making me become hard again, fuck I'll never get use to this.

"I lied" her smile drops.

"What?" I chuckle, what'd she lie about?

"I didn't go back on contraception.." she looks down at my chest. My heart begins to pound, well this is a mood killer.

"What..w..why?" I stutter in disbelief.

"I'm already pregnant.." she says slowly.

I throw her off my chest and stand up abruptly, I search the room for my boxers when I finally find them I pull them on as quickly as I can before I turn around to Brin, she sitting up covering her body with the duvet looking worried.

"You're already pregnant! How?" I shake my head and balling my fists.

"Well Kai and I decided to stop before you came and I go pregnant, I haven't told anyone because.."

I cut her off "What because you're fucking scared!"

"Yes! I'm confused!" She stands.

"You've been drinking Brin and you're pregnant, are you fucking stupid!" I shout. I feel like the anger is dying to take over my body and I'm trying to not let that happen.

Her eyes begin to water "I'm confused Hunter, I don't know what I'm doing" she shakes her head as a tear escapes.

"Save the crying, yeah!, You fucked up! You have two guys completely in love with you and you're confused! It isn't hard to know who you love!, Give your head a fucking wobble! You're fucking pregnant, with his child and you were drinking!"

"I know! I'm sorry" she sobs, I turn away not wanting to see her. Is this really fucking happening, when I feel like I get the girl and she's pregnant with someone else's child.

I feel her touch my shoulder and he head leans on my back as she sobs feeling sorry for herself, I close my eyes trying to withdrawal my anger by counting.

It's not working! Why isn't the anger going away, please fucking go away! I keep replaying it over and over in my head and it's only making me angrier, my hands begin to tremble and I'm beginning to see red.

"Hunter!" Brin screams.

What?

I blink a few times coming back from my anger, I have Brin pinned up against the door as my hand grips her throat tightly. Her face is red and beginning to turn purple from the loss of circulation, her eyes are bloodshot and wide as though they'll pop out her head. My eyes go wide in realisation but I only grip tighter.

I jolt up in bed, my heart is beating so fast. I look to my right seeing Brin tangled in the duvet showing the side of her naked body.

Is was a dream? More like nightmare.

I swing my legs over the edge and lean forward shoving my hands in my face, I'm sweating like mad. I'd never hurt her like that. It's like I wanted to hurt her more and it scares the shit out of that I did. I'm so fucking glad it wasn't real.

I feel warm soft hands touch my shoulder and I immediately relax. She runs her hand down my arm before wrapping her arms around my waist, she plants a soft wet kiss on my back and my fear is completely swiped away.

"Are you okay?" She asks concerned.

"I am..now" I turn to see her beautiful face.

"You sure?" She tilts her head.

"Are you sure you're on contraception?" I ask, I'm kind of worried about it now.

"Yeah, after Kai and I stopped trying I went straight to the doctor" She cups my cheek.

I close my eyes watching the nightmare disappear instantly, I lean against the headboard and pull her onto my lap.

She leans in kissing my lips softly, I wrap my hand around the back of her neck pulling her closer.

The door handle rattles and turns slowly, Brin climbs off my lap and covers up her body again. Elle walks in rubbing her eyes with her blanket in her firm grip. She still looks half asleep.

"Hi, sleepyhead" Brin coos and pulls her onto the bed, she curls up beside me taking my large hand in her tiny hand. She closes her eyes and brings her thumb to her lips and falls back asleep.

"What time is it?" I whisper and kiss Elles forehead.

"Six" Brin says after checking her phone. "I have work at twelve" she pushes her bottom lip out.

"Stay home, spend time with your dad" I coo.

And me.

"But i already stayed off one day"

"So, you don't need the money" I chuckle.

"Yeah i do"

"I'll provide the money" I tell her.

"No, I like my own income plus I like working at the diner" she smiles.

"Okay, but the diner isn't going anywhere. Take a few days off you work too much" and you can spend more time with me.

"Okay" she smiles.

My phone rings breaking our eye contact, I take my phone from the nightstand and take it to my ear.

"Hey" Brax says chipper.

"It's six in the morning, what do you want?"

"Shame. I set up your account for your money, your assistant has the card and the pin and you have a meeting at eleven. I suggest going in early to prepare and stuff, oh and I gave the assistant your number so she won't bother me anymore" he says rushing.

"What? Can you repeat that?" I chuckle.

"Hunter, I swear to.."

"I'm kidding, I got it" I hang up and turn to Brin.

"I have work but I'll be back" I stand and walk around the bed to Brin's side, I peck her lips lingering for a moment longer. I head to the bathroom and stop at the door turning around, wanting one last look at Brin, Brin is staring directly at my dick.

"Stop staring or I won't make it to my office" I watch as her eyes snap to mine, her face turns crimson as she shoves her face into the pillow, I chuckle and close the door. I wish I could fuck her right now but Elle is sleeping beside her.
